Hi
I am looking for feedback from people on what they are selling on their sites to get leads. I have plenty of material but am not sure what direction to go.
I currently have about 100 -120 people coming to my site but am not sure what to market to the ones that leave their details.
I know what I will give them as the free component I am working on that at the moment but the part they pay for I would love some feedback especially if you are finding it effective.
My back ground is building a business the old school way which is working very well for us but I am looking to incorporate online strategies to help my team.
Hope you are well

Sell yourself. Sell your value and people that see that value will follow into any business you are in. People are looking for those that can help them realize their dreams.

Hi
thanks for that. I do understand what you are saying but I am talking about the product that I sell when people realise they should be buying from me.
hope this explains it. I am talking about what Mike talks about on CD 1 of MLM traffic formula

Re: what to sell on my website
James,
If you would like to really find out how to market online MLM I can only suggest you visit this guy and subscribe to his info. I have been watching him for 6 months and he is a major inspiration for me and is currently how I am running and constructing my marketing funnels.
In two years he has gone from $0 to over $85,000 per month. Not bad for a 22 year old who only started marketing online in August of 2006.
Watch everything you can find from Jonathan Budd on YouTube and subscribe to his stuff here...
www.onlinemlmsecrets.com
He attributes a lot of his success to Mike Dillard so what you will see here is how a young guy with no experience took Mike's stuff and built an empire out of it. That's why I recomend it.
Cheers
Greg

Re: what to sell on my website
Hi James
I would ask the people who will buy your products. What I did, and this without even having a website; is I wrote practical content to help people with some of their challenges in business.
I then asked them afterwards, what kind of products will they want to be valuable to them? What challenges they are facing, whether techy, whether business skills, selling etc.
I thought they won't reply but man, was I wrong. I got flooded by emails from the list I have giving me brillaint suggestions that they would buy if I find or create such products. So James, maybe find a way to ask the people you are aiming at.
I also did something else and it works great. I contacted some business centres, like chambers commerce. I said, I'd like to help people and provide free training on this and that. I see you haven't got this kind of training. Mine was on social media and how to combine this with offline.
So, they said, "yes, we need this."
I then created the course, powerpoint style and started the course. I also left a form for people to fill in to evaluate the course and also share what help they need.
At first there was only 10 people turn up. Now, my course has about 40 people. At now it's on fire. I have now a booking as well of 150 people. That's what I like doing. I like combining social media online and social community offline for my business. It works and love it.
So maybe, the best way to find out, is ask the people, and I think they'd appreciate it too.
I'm now creating a blog so I can move everyone to share comment on their needs by providing video training. So from the people from the training I have done, plus list from online, I will find a lot of people asking question. This gets them engaged, and also, they realise someone is really listening to their needs instead of form filling and treating them as outputs which many feel business centres do.
I got like a video for example on the question and giving some great content. Then I have like comment box below. I email all the list. They follow, watch video, and then comment. From there, I will find more needs, what products help they need etc.
This will then show you exactly, what they need. Maybe do like a one on one with the choosing of someone from your list. Video it or audio, and then let people hear the result. This gives you credibility and sparks them to want more of the product you are designing, and even feed back for future products.
Maybe even an interview with a business owner you are aiming at, which shows you're asking the questions about their needs. Then make that as the video or audio, to email everyone on your list it invite people you are aiming at. Then have a comment box below and see what is being said and engage with them on the comment.
Then, send an email after collated all this, showing what they all need help in, and the product you are coming out with. And that they should have a say now, on what else could be added to help them.
Hope this helps and maybe, some ideas there for you.
Adam

Re: what to sell on my website
Good morning James,
I understand your question and I realize that there are tons of people trying to do business here but without a real product. Many are selling information, training, systems, etc. Those are all great product for people that are already "in" network marketing.
Every Network Marketer should be in the actual Network Marketing business and have a feeling of the actual process of prospecting, selling, recruiting, etc. You are in the right mood for this and I don't want to sound like I am taking advantage of your situation to "pitch my opportunity".
What I suggest is that you check your friend's profiles and discover what products are available out there and pick one that catches your attention and makes you feel good about promoting and using it. Something that benefits you not just when you sell it but also when you use it.
In my case I have been involved with fitness, sports, nutrition and medicine my whole life. I never made it to Medical School but I love that stuff. When I learned about the business that I do now, my eyes almost popped out, I was excited! That was my product, something that was going to help a lot of people, I get to make others feel great and they call it a business, cool!
Now after a few years I am really happy about what I do and the company has been the best. Am I pitching you my business? Not really, this might not be what you want, maybe you love music so check that area, or travel, or cars...just look around. If you like health, medicine and the like then contact me and let's talk.

Re: what to sell on my website
G'day James,
I had to laugh when I saw your question, because it's the same one I asked of a mentor of mine.
He said: " Don't ask me, ask your customers and visitors".
I see from your site that you love to teach, and that it's an SBI site.
Perhaps you could position yourself as a mentor/teacher, and do a survey or poll on your site to ask your visitors what information, tools, and resources would be most helpful to them.
Then you know for sure what to offer, and can give your readers an "expert review" of affiliate products, and tailor your own product development right to them. Always a good idea to make sure they can "tell-a-friend".
SBI has a poll tool, I think. If not, SurveyMonkey is a good one, and it's free to start.
By the way, you have a neighbor Down Under named Sean D'Souza who is absolutely brilliant at this stuff, and gives away immense value on his site. ( See "Brain Audit" ).
Hope this is helpful,
Regards,
Bruce
