Hi everyone,

I hope everybody's off to a new and good start this 2010. For the past 3 months, I have been trying to improve myself and have been reading more books. I spent more time offline that I rarely get back here to read the forums.

Moving on to my question, this January would appear to be a good start for me. I started getting comments on my blogs from real people. Well, actually I am still not sure if the comments are from spammers, but I feel that some of them are from real people. Why? Because they can put an avatar of their photo together with the comment. And that is my question: How do you put avatar pictures in comments?

I mean, I'm ashamed of the fact that I run a blog site, but I don't know how to put an avatar photo for my own comments hehehe.

Oh and also... what audio player (one list player) do you use for adding an audio to your wordpress blog?

I tried adding a plug-in but it sucks at playing the mp3 files that I uploaded. The file plays really well locally on my computer, but when I play the same file from my website, it skips like a really worn out CD. I uploaded the same file 4 times to no avail. Any tips and how to use them effectively will be very very much appreciated!

I can't answer on your post regarding audio players as I have never dealt with them. I guess i've never really wanted to. Have you considered video instead?

As far as an avatar, check out http://en.gravatar.com/. They have a cool set-up wherever that when you have an option of putting an avatar at a blog site it will load up your avatar pic.

as long as you use the same e-mail (which is required to leave comments to peoples blogs) with your avatar as what you do with your comments, it should load the pic up for you.

By the way, I am trying to experiment on audio first because I need to practice my english and vocalization hehehe. Once Im done with those, I'll start experimenting on videos.

look - go to comment/settings and there is an option to choose whether or not to enable avatars as well as which type of live ID/open ID avatars to use - also download and activate the plugin called Akismet which is a life saver against spam.
