Hi Kevin,

Don't get discouraged. I know for me one of the hardest things for me was to develop my copy writing skills. I found when I made a few changes and spent a little more time on content I got better results. But the most important thing is consistancy.

To answer your question... Here are a few ways I market...

I network and build relationships on sites like this as well as sites like myspace, Ryze, Adlandpro etc.

I join a network on forums like this as well as others (just do a search on google for mlm forums)

I submit articles and blogs. I use blogger, wordpress, hubpages.

Yes, I have used many of the tools that I learned from MS to "attract prospects" to me. Yes you can market MS and BOAB to bring in some extra cashflow but the important thing is to use what you learned.

The idea is to build a web one strand at a time. With each post, each article, each each new piece of content out get out there on the web the momentum will grow....People will start to stalk you and then you will build a fan base in the form of your list. And you then train them how you did it and sell them the tools you used to do it!

Don't stop posting, or asking questions... I get leads from my website I built, in Feb/Mar. My MS profile, my MLM training blog, and other articles and profiles on other, social networks forum posts like this one, and other affiliate programs with capture pages.

Another thing to remember is that it's not just a couple of actions that are going to get you results. It's the consistent action and the correct mindset.

It just seems to me everyone is doing MS and isnt everyone going to be in MS eventually and there will be no more people to talk to?


That is a mindset of lack and on the competitive plane. Subconsciously you could be self sabotaging yourself. Try switching to the creative plane and a mindset of abundance and expectation. Everything we do is governed by universal law. You can work with it or against it.

Hi Kevin,
I sent you a private message but I see you have also posted in this topic.

Since you are getting traffic but no click-thrus or opt-ins you may want to take a look at the page you are sending them to.

If you are sending them to a company website, no matter how good it is, it probably will not get the opt-ins that a personalized blog of yours would get.

If money is an issue (as it is for most of us), you can get a domain name and forward it to a Wordpress blog (the blogs are free and when you host your own you can move the info to your own)

Get an autoresponder, put up a good give-away ebook or course

Post some articles on your blog, post some articles on ezinearticles.com and Squidoo and hubpages.

You should get some opt-ins.

Remember, you only want the traffic to see your site if it offers them something of value so they want more (they must be attracted to you and what you are offering).

I couldn't agree more with Darrell.
Personal branding is the key along with great copy.
Everyone has seen the same duplicated site and they need something to get and keep their attention.
You can use an effective email to drive them to a duplicate site, but I prefer driving traffic to a personal site that lets them fall in love with me first and then the product.

I haven't received BOAB as I just ordered it today, but from my understanding I was under the impression that it's about building that web, yes you will receive short term traffic but it helps dramatically with building you as the 'go to' guy when people need help in selecting a network marketing company, or help in educating themselves on how to build their home business, or... so basically in the long term people find you because you have positioned yourself well on the net and people find you organically and everywhere. Yeah?

I got to say, I am so excited!!!! I am pacing up and down, waiting for the building on budget book cause I got mikes dillard emails. I didn't order it until I think 4 months of recieve the nice snippet emails. They lifted me up! I am a little confused at what to do but I am waiting for the book to come.

Looking at this thread and others, well, I can say there's lot of people willing to help. I don't feel alone, so thats so great. I learnt a lot just from this thread.
