Hi everyone! I have been marketing my products for some time now. I found a product that I like and it does well for my health issues. I was trained by many uplines and coaches that I attended to promote the products.
The first problem I had was getting business cards. I made my own business cards from my computer with Avery templates. That was fine at the time. Later, they didn't look professional. The cards looked worn quickly. To fix this problem, I went to my website and purchased business cards.
The second problem I had was getting my website on the cards. I added my website information onto the cards. That was simple enough. Then, I found out that my target market does not even use the computer. After all that work on getting the right cards and passing them out. Majority of the market does not use computers or have access to a computer. I had to readjust again. I put the phone number on the cards for prospectives to call in their orders. Everything would be automatic. They could go online or call the service center to order.
The third problem I just found out. The website says, 'www.mylifeforce.net/20715112.' Nobody could find this! I forgot to add,'http://' before the 'www....'. It should read,'http://www.mylifeforce.net/20715112.'
What problems have you had like this?

Re: Oops! I Made The Biggest Error Ever!
Hi everyone! There is another biggest error that I found out about my business or any business for that matter. Where a lot of people work is probably where the most people are met. And, in most business settings, you can not promote your products. A friend of mine told me that she can not do any business around her job. She can not even do it as a second business at home. Their rules are very strict. Either you are working for your company and completing their interests or you are not working for them. There seems to be a conflict here. How can you promote your business outside of both of your jobs?
Another big issue that I have discovered is how the products are marketed. For instance, if you go to a restaurant to eat, say for lunch, you can not bring those purchases onto another's competitor's property. Like, if you buy from a Pepsi affliate restaurant, you can not bring that brand onto Coca-Cola's property.
The only redeeming thing to do is to go online to market your ideas and products. There is no conflict of working two jobs at the same time. The ones who can have a home based business can market to the ones who can't and they will be just the customers. Maybe it will all work out somehow. Any other suggestions are open for discussion.

Re: Oops! I Made The Biggest Error Ever!
You know it's nice to make a mistake ever once in awhile. We do learn from our mistakes and move on.
We learn how to treat people. How to talk to people without trying to advertise to them. We listen to people and give advice when needed.
One of the biggest mistakes ever could be made is not recognizing the very people we are working with and marketing to. What do they want to come to you and opening up to you. Being a leader and a friend will come together in giving advice to others. Do they recognize you as a knowledgeable person to come to you and talk to you. If you set yourself as a caring and listening person they just might.
That is one of the biggest mistakes which we can never forget!
