I actually saw that post and the firestorm that followed. I was going to write something about it and then I decided not to add to the fire so I held back.

It's true and most of us knew that it was against forum rules but I have to agree with you that the bashing was not warranted. I think we as a community can do better. I moderated the 7 figure networker forum for 2 years and for me, bashing someone for doing something wrong was equivalent to whatever it is that the person did or even worse....so I didn't allow it. There's a difference between a notorious spammer and someone who just happened to make a mistake. You can't treat everybody equally.

If you don't have something nice to say, listen to your mama.. don't say anything. If you suspect someone has broken the rules, why waste your time and energy fighting it out in public when you can simply report the problem and let the moderators deal with ?

Yes we need compassion.. tons of it and we also need to realize that not everyone is at the same level of knowledge as everyone else when it comes to some of these things.

Be kind to one another...

Nice to have you admit your mistakes I give you props for that as you have not only learned but you have posted to show others that you can be human enough to admit your wrongs.

As for bashing - well if someone spams then they deserve what they get. If you be all nice to spammers then they know they can get away with it. Take losers like make money with sonny who is not only a spammer but a poser. He claims:

He sends death threats to well respected marketers because they called him on his spam and his "fake it till you make it" crap ...

If this is the type of people BN wants here then they deserve everything they get. Call it bashing all you want but I call it saving the newbies who would otherwise be lead blind by fools...
