I listened to an interview last week with Tony Robbins, Frank Kern and John Reese. I came away with an "amazing revelation" as to why people quit mlm or never really get started. It is because they either don't believe in the company that they have joined, their ability to duplicate what the successful mlmers' are doing, or they don't believe in that their sponsor or company has their best interests at heart.
I know that I am guilty of at least one of those three.
Since listening to that interview, I am finding that I am hearing a lot more about the word-BELIEVE. Maybe I was hearing it all along, and I just wasn't paying attention.
So my question to you is: What do you BELIEVE? Do you believe in your mlm of choice? Do you believe in the integrity of your company and its leaders? Do you believe in your own abilities to duplicate what the successful people in your company are doing? Last of all do you believe that you have what it takes to be a millionaire in this business?

Hey Chris, while I could answer YES to all your questions I don't think that will get you anywhere.
What's important is the first part where you have just discovered - with a demo - the power of your
reticular activation system.
Reticular Activators (RA) are neurons that recognize an impulse and see more of it once they recognize
it. For instance when you plan on buying a Ford, you'll see many Fords around your place, in parking
lots, at the supermarket etc.
Like wise with words (Believe).
Likewise with resources... for instance downlines. All you do is get a perfect picture of your perfect
interaction embedded in your RA. Soon you will find ordinary prospects molding their behavior and
actions to fit your defined stereotype. Your plans will be more productive. Your sales will improve.
Another expression for this is 'expectancy'. RA is the principle that makes it work. Great going!

I can say yes to all
I know that when the pain is great enough the the belief in self is what will make the difference in the action which will bring the out come. Success is a must. Now it might not be what we want but we are successful at reaching/achieving a result. The thing is what kind of success/result are we coming to.
I believe that the company, leaders, and do ability matters to the point of trust. But for me the great pain for change will drive any thing to active success of reaching the goal/result.

If you don't believe in yourself it will show in your actions, words and most everything else you do in life. How can you expect anyone else to believe in you as a leader if you don't believe in yourself. One of your biggest challenges is in MLM is getting people to believe in you, your company and the processes we all do on a daily basis to build the business.
You need to have the faith and your why has to be big enough to overcome whatever gets thrown at you in this business. If you don't or can't have this kind of faith in what you are doing then I would suggest you find an opportunity where you can feel this way and run with it. There is no shame in changing your focus until you find that certain one that gets you fired up and keeps you there.

Re: Another rhetorical question.........
I really actually only quit one MLM. I was asked to join a market. I was never trained. I could not talk to any upline or any other type of mentoring. I did the best I could. I gave away the products for my friends to try. That did not work after a year of working it. After getting no response from the upline I stopped receiving my shipments. The other MLM's I was in I still maintain membership to them. When an opportunity arises in that area I can respond and sign them up. This last MLM that I am in, I got better results. I got the training and I do speak to my uplines all the way up to the head of the organization. I am very much enthused about the product and the organization. I still have not received the results I expected. As I join another MLM, I am learning more about it and how it operates. When everything is working, there will be several streams of income coming in from several areas.

I don't think anything you said was rhetorical at all. I realize just recently that you can not talk to everyone about joining a business with you. It's not you. It's not your company. It's not even your enthusiam about your products you promote. I found out one of the biggest error was the person themselves. A lot of people can not participate in any business venture outside of their present jobs. That is one reason many people I have talked to have never said 'no' to me. Even to ex-coworkers I meet in the grocery store. They may have another job that restrict their off the job income. I remember when I was working one assignment. I was so busy that I could not take on another opportunity. But the thought had always been there to move on my thoughts and start a business on my own. All you can do is give the information. Somewhere along the way, they may just come back to you and take you up on a good opportunity. But just not right now!
