You can also try to connect with as many people as you can and once they become your
friend, you can hold regular conversation with them. Ask them what it is that
they do. After they tell you, nine times out of ten they will ask you the same and
then you can give them the info about your site.

Re: How Do You Not Advertise On Facebook?
Thanks, Naqueen! I have begun talking to many people on my list. Talking to everyone one at a time will get too timely, if not nearly impossible. That's why I was considering doing something for the whole list at once. I have a niece in Japan where my products does not ship to would be a problem. And some people do not connect to their site only weeks to several weeks at a time. If I send every one a message they will all get the same message when they do connect to their site.
Presently, it's taken a long time to get around to talking about their health issues unless they bring it first.
Thanks for the information!

Oh okay... no problem...
Then yes, the best way would be to create either a group or fanpage. That way you could just post
your links there and all of your friends will get the feed and it is expected on these pages.
Hopefully you will achieve your goal,
NaQueen

Google my wife, Lenika Scott...She built a huge following on Facebook. Facebook was our main tool that helped us reach the top rank in our MLM and become 6 figure earners(www.fbmoneymaker.com). Dont directly advertise to people because you will definitely turn them off. First build relationship and trust by inspiring and motivating. Lift up others and they will in turn lift you up...

You can easily advertise on Facebooks without spamming your friends. I open up a fan page and group. Then I go to fiverr.com and pay five bucks for someone with thousands of friends to promote your page. I have gotten hundreds of people on my fanpage and a lot of referrals. And none of them are my real friends.

Cool idea! I did not know about that site, thanks! I already started a project, not Facebook, but something else, Thanks again!

Re: How Do You Not Advertise On Facebook?
Wow! This is more great information. Thanks Naqueen and Greg. I will start and learn how to create a fan page or a group page. I saw that one the FB side note.
I see a lot of this stuff is not hard to do. I have been letting my computer expert son do the techno stuff around. It's taken him a long time to do these little things.
I feel confident now that I can do it myself instead of paying him to do it. I still have to pay him because he still in college.
I'll start after Thanksgiving!
Hope every one has one and be thankful for this wonderful life!

Re: How Do You Not Advertise On Facebook?
Hi, you can advertise on facebook using the pay per click or pay per view methods available which you would pay for.
Answering your question you can simply let people know how the products have helped you then they can contact you if they wish to purchase the products.
Facebook is a social network for networking with people, people shouldn't be promoting there but building relationships.

Re: How Do You Not Advertise On Facebook?
I'm going to try this again, because maybe it'll help somebody...
Advertising for MLM doesn't work.
If it did, the company would do it instead of paying distributors.
MLM works because of the influence of the distributors.
Influence gets people to join, buy products, and influence others.
Big influence = big money. No influence = no money.
So if you don't have any influence, you've got to get some one way or the other before you go on Facebook, Better Networker, or anywhere else.
Sometimes, a brand name can be enough influence. So if you're selling Starbucks, Apple, I-phone, Ford, Coca-Cola, etc., you might have enough PPC fodder.
If you have a new, or largely unknown brand, like most MLM companies do, then PPC will be much harder.
That's why advertising and fan pages on Facebook won't work for MLM.
People don't buy MLM products from websites. They order from websites, but they buy from the people who sent them there. Does that make sense?
So in MLM, your influence gets them to buy, not your company, product, or business opportunity.
You're sharing your great product, company, and opportunity 'WAY too early...
Before Facebook, MySpace was a great place for people in MLM. You could search and generate a prospect list in seconds, for free.
But people in MLM spammed and spammed, until MySpace got tired of it and made it more and more difficult. Now we're not welcome on MySpace anymore.
Same thing will happen on Facebook if we don't stop the spam.
If you post a link, and you make money on it, and people didn't ask you for it... IT'S SPAM.
Does that help? I try to be concise and direct on here. But I feel like I'm having no effect. It's like playing pool with a rope. Hey... (TAP, TAP, TAP) ... this thing on?
The good news is, through trial and error, I found a safe, effective, spam-free way to market on Facebook. It's so simple, most people will miss it. I'm trying to communicate it to anyone who will listen, because it will help the whole MLM industry.

Re: How Do You Not Advertise On Facebook?
This is a personal view of this topic:
I think some are seeing Facebook as "the place" to be for mlm, the reality is that facebook is just a tool. You can't complicate it too much, see it as a way to contact your warm market, and their warm market, yes, you can advertise, but network marketing is a duplicating business that do not require thousands of personal sponsor to succeed. By adding more stuff, you make it harder to duplicate.
I have sponsored less than 80 people and I have around 80,000 people, uhmm.. That is a clue, almost all of them came from warm market or social interaction, I did very little advertisement, online or offline, and that applies to most of my group.
Am I against advertisement and promoting through or other avenue? no, but to have it as the only way to build, gives a message to every body who you sponsor that the Only way to build is online or ads, then you have to consistently be building because most people will never start waiting to set or understand systems, then the so call residual income will never materialize.
I can stop building if I wanted now, and my income still would be a hefty multiple six figure per year because thousands of new people come every year, and thousands of people just use my product, and remember, I sponsor less than 80 in 7 years, most of them in my first 2 years.
Now, let me show what I do if I sponsor people from my cold market online/offline:
1. I ask them to write their top 50, and get their mail addresses (not email). If we use email, I have another strategy that I will discuss in another post. but I like snail mail more.
2. I send a letter from me to those, 10 every week (real post office letter)
3. We follow with a call. The letter is just an excuse to call, but it is effective, how many of you have received a personal letter in the last 30 days?
4. We repeat the process with their new people because of those 50, around 2-15, will join, depending on their influence.
The letter is short, it it mostly talking about the individual opening his/her business with me as partner, but mostly is an excuse to call them back and sending them some info online or offline. This works long distance or locally.
The cold market strategies will come later if they see it necessary, it is very simple.
I personally I am setting more aggressive ads campaigns, but to earn six figure in my first 8 month, and multiple six figure thereafter, I did not need or do extra advertisement, it was almost exclusively warm market, and not mine, but others.
Why am I learning and expanding online and offline marketing? Now I have thousand of dollars I can use, plus my goal is to reach the warm market of most people, and I will do it by adding more people with the team I am bringing into this project, but the so "maligned" warm market always would be our base.
I am saying all this just to make the point that we cannot complicate everything! there are a lot of system that are worthless out there, some of them may work for a little awhile to give you some little hope, but them they stop working and you are out of the business.
