Oli,

Just go to people's profiles as Adam suggested, look at their companies, see what interests you and make an educated decision without anyone trying to "sell" you something. When you post a thread like this you will get many people trying to "sell" you on their opportunity/company...as well as posting their affiliate/website links which is against forum rules and the TOS of Better Networker. This is not the way to make a decision about anything that is going to cost you money.

When you find something that you feel will work for you then do some research and find out more about the company, as well as the person whose profile you get the information from. Don't let anyone hard sell or tell you their company is the best as everyone has that opinion of their company, that is just human nature. Get in touch with the person whose company you are interested in and take it from there.

I wish you the best in your search and feel you will find that right fit for what you are looking for. There are a lot of really good companies out there but just do your due-diligence. Watch your money as there are a ton of people as well that are just looking to separate you from your money. Watch out for others that only want to shove their business down your throat or scam you with no regard for what your wants or needs are. Joining a business is not just about the business...remember you are joining a person as well so please make sure it is a good fit for all concerned.

.

STOP! ...
and THINK before you slam your link up there!

First of all for those of you that already replied, so eager to jump in and scream "Pick Me Pick Me!"
Do you really not understand how unprofessional that looks. Some of you flat out promote yourselves as Top Leaders, yet your actions here scream "Desperate Wannabe!"

On the flip side we see some very professional responses directing the young man to the proper resources within the community to conduct his research, learn about the various company options out there and a starting point to get to know some of the leaders in their respective companies.

Sorry, but that's just the reality of it and you chose your option.
Maybe you'll think twice next time. Think twice about your reputation and the BRAND you want to be associated with.

The other element here is the forum rules, which clearly state not to blatantly advertise your business.
Any of us could have jumped in with a quick link to our opportunity page.

Is it really worth getting your account banned?

Do NOT post any kind of sales pitch for your business, or affiliate product in the forum. This is called "forum spam". Your account will be banned immediately without warning if you do so, and the offending posts will be deleted.

Would you do this on Facebook? on LinkedIn? on the WarriorForum?
No you wouldn't. Because you know very well you would have been slapped and most likely Imageflamed beyond belief.

This place is getting cleaned up folks!
I recommend you all read the guidelines and THINK before you click the submit button next time.

Hello Oli Pringle

I'm from Jamaica and I've been in three business opportunities, and have had the same issues you have with majority of the companies being American.

I want to encourage you thought, that what ever business you enter you check out the products that Mike Dillard offer.

Now when you find a business that you believe is suitable try to get into a team which has a duplicable system you can plug into that will help you succeed in your business. Even if you don't find such a team, I'll recommend to you an educational system that will assist in teaching you how to market yourself and your business.

You may visit my profile for further information.

Oli whatever you do, and what ever business you enter I wish you all the best.

Seriously Oli?

Your post title says "Hey Guys, I'm looking for a new MLM opportunity."

And then your signature line says "Find Out More About This Amazing Home Business Opportunity..."

That doesn't seem real genuine.

There's a whole section on BN that lists MLM Companies and top leaders, so it's not real hard to find them.

And it's against Forum rules for people to provide links to their home business, so you're just setting people up to break the rules and get kicked off of BN when the Better Networker police :geek: arrive at the scene of the crime.

Greetings Oli,
I believe that I have what you are looking for. It is in the 8 trillion dollar travel industry and as you can guess world-wide. You can either sell the service or their are products as well. The name of the company is Traverus Travel and I have been with them for 2 years now. Check out this website and let me know what questions you have. CONTENT REMOVED by support

David Wilcoxon. To start with, what do you gain from questioning the genuinity of my question. Firstly, you don't know anything about me. Secondly, the reason it says that in my signature link is because that was a link to my previous MLM, and I had not updated it since leaving that MLM. Thirdly, what possible reason could I have to ask for a new MLM opportunity when I didn't really want to find out about one? Maybe you should think a little more before you make accusatory posts. And as for your final comment, I dont believe I am setting people up to get banned and post affiliate links. If people choose to post affiliate links, then they are willingly breaking the rule. People can just as easily recommend my a company, and not have any personal gain for themselves. I would imagine people in this day and age have enough self control to make their own choices, and if that means breaking the rules, then thats their problem.

Oli,

Use this time to build up your network of friends in this community. Meet leaders and try to understand their successes and failures while you don't have the pressure of building a business. Learn about adding content, based on your perspective, whatever that form is-video, blogging etc.

You can do that very inexpensively and then when the right opportunity presents itself, you'll be ready to plug it into your system of branding and won't be trying to create a lot of unique stuff while trying to grow your business.

You are a young guy-based on your pic. Start thinking about where you want to be five years from now.
Just my thoughts-from someone who has been around the block once or twice.

Good luck!
