So I know this is a common issue, however I wanted a direct answer considering the idea of
buying a domain would be not the greatest idea.
however, I already own my site and am wondering if it would just be a good idea right now
to have my link point back to my website to my products page with multiple products rather than just one affiliate product?
I'm really just focusing on article marketing right now considering I dont have much time with school/work.
However trying this out will be better then not trying it at all. I realize this is a lot of work but I am willing to work out at least 2-3 articles/day. I will also be starting web development and our final project is creating a site to sell things. so i figured i could do a bit of both.
Also, as far as finding keywords, audience, ect... i got that down b/c i realize the importance of it. ok.... back to programming!

Simple tip
Hey Theodore! One simple way to add links that direct you back to your website is to add your links on your resource box which can be seen right under your article. You can check ezine on how to do this because they have training vids on how to make and edit it. My advice is to post at least 2 links not too many for it can be a turn off. Anyways, hope I got to help here. Take care and Good luck!

Re: How to post links in ezine
Theo, here's some tips for adding your links to article sites. First thing to note is that some article sites will allow you to place links in the body of the article itself. You can do this, BUT these links usually are "nofollow" and won't help you with your SEO.
I personally never place links in the article body itself. Give the readers information in the article body and then use the bio area to promote your website.
The best place is to place your links in the author's bio box which is usually displayed at the end of the article. You should set up your article to allow for syndication by someone in an newsletter or other means where the hyperlink may get broken. (Example would be if someone used your article in a plain text email newsletter. The link would get broken and there would be no way for people to find your site easily.)
Here's what you need to do to make your bio link universal and help expose your URL to the anyone that may end up reading a plain text version of your article.
Write your bio info and incorporate your targeted keywords in it. Hyperlink those keywords so that any page rank will get passed back to your site via the keyword anchor text. Next place your full URL at the end of your article. If the article site automatically hyperlinks it then that's fine...but if not then that's OK too.
Having your full URL there gives people a way where they can copy and paste the URL into their browser and still find you even if the article is syndicated and the hyperlinks get broken.
Here's an example: Suppose you have written an article about Better Networker
Theo is an article writer blah, blah, blah, you can learn more about Better Networker here: http://www.betternetworker.com/
In this example you can see if the hyperlink gets broken in the syndication process, then people can still see the full URL and can find your site through that. I set up all my article bios using this method and I recommend that you do the same. Kerry

Personally...
..back some years ago I used Newsletter and Ezines to place my articles but, I made
my bio as part of the articles instead of a seperate box hence, increased results..
I am not sure if it can be done today..
rey
P.S. I plan a maybe of starting doing that with a Newsletter to help ease the pain
that many women carries..etc. Being in Personal Development for many years I
discover that instead of having something specific to such development I use a solution,
one that opens mind that can change outcomes in Life..

Re: How to post links in ezine
Writing articles about your products or services will get you "the the door" of the reader, and then, in the Resource box or in your Bio, put your link with a strong, catchy call-to-action. If your article adds value and information, and is easy to read, (like a conversation with a friend), your readers will want to check you out. And then, Cha-Ching...you have a buyer or potential customer.
But don't add your links in the body of the article. That's a little too pushy and your readers won't even get to the Bio or Resource box! Like any friendly conversation, you want to add value and build curiosity, or offer to help solve a problem, before you start the "selling part" of your conversation, right?

Exactly right!
Article Marketing is a simple, effective and low-cost way to bring very high quality visitors to your website. You can establish yourself as an authority in the industry, and build TRUST with your audience through articles. People tend to buy from people they TRUST and like. This is the philosophy of Internet Marketing.
P.S.
When submitting your article to multiple sites, be sure to submit to EzineArticles first, since they seem to have the best duplicate content filter. If you submit to other sites before EzineArticles, they will flag your article as duplicate content.
