When I first started with YTB; I struggled because I really did not know how to market my business effectively. Since then, I have found more success by generating my own leads online; in places like Craigslist and having a blog.

Another great tip I have is to invest in yourself. I am not one for doing travel parties and hotel meetings; so I wanted to find out how to market on the internet. And it works well for me.

I LOVE the idea of using the internet and truly believe MS and others like it are forging new ground that will ultimately replace the traditional methods.... EVENTUALLY! I plan on using it and making it a big part of my approach.

I ASLO truly believe that the OLD STYLE of building face-to-face relationships and marketing human-to-human is still alive and well and shouldn't be swept away. The internet should play an integral PART of your overall marketing plan...

BUT SOMEWHERE IN THERE.... SOMEBODY HAS TO SELL SOMETHING. Marketing and selling are 2 totally different things... and many network marketers are new to the world of SELLING.

I have started a Blog that doesn't SELL ANYTHING.... Doesn't try to "attract-you" to filling out a capture page and is designed to help ANYONE interested in learning the nuances' of SELLING.... learn how to do it.... the right words... the way to handle objections, etc. In fairness of disclosure, if anyone clicks on my marketing title, it will take them to my capture page, but there are no banners or ads and no direct "pitches" for any product and it isn't funded in anyway.

I am doing this because I sense that there is a real gap between what training/material/teaching the MLM's are providing and the real world of selling to complete strangers.

So whether you're selling your product or your MLM Opportunity... you better know how to sell or you'll get eaten alive... here is an open blog that will show you exactly how to do it.... please come and participate.

I have over 30 years of selling in a very, very tough business... INSURANCE. I've been through hundreds of hours of training from some of the very best sales people and will openly share that information with readers in a blog called: SuccessTrips.

I agree with investing in yourself. I believe so many people see the money being made in the industry and think it will be easy. The key to being successful in this industyr is ongoing education and personal growth. The more networking you do the better you will become.
We are also doing some of the online marketing. I enjoy doing 1 on 1 presentations as well.
