I went to a Free Seminar. I up graded to the 97.00 package because I value Seminars. I know I can learn. Well What they did to you at this seminar was torture. They pulled out all the TACTICS . People who have never been to a Seminar would leave feeling like if they did not buy one of there 4000.00 products they will fail Themselves and Their Families not to mention their Charities. They kept you up all night and Hypnotized you so that they could make that sale. They used Fear of Loss over and over. And over priced all their products and then every 10 min drop the price. It made me sick I will never go again. I knew they were going to sell I was cool with that But the TACTICS SUCKED. I am glad I did not go today. They make you believe they are over delivering through hypnotism. Just WARNING Guys unless you have the money to Pay for over priced Crap do not Fall for it. Do not go into debt for these Salesman Guru Tactics.

Just curious, if I may ask, what seminar company was it with? I am slotted to attend a T Harv Eker Millionaire Mindset Intensive seminar in a few weeks. It is a 3 day affair, all day.

It is free too but you can also upgrade fro $97 or more.

That's crap!

I bought this one audio training for $100
hoping I was about to learn some great things,
but in the audio was this.

It shared a bit of information about the topic,
but nothing I could not have gotten for free.

Then the rest was the emphasis on how you
need to attend this seminar that happened a
few times throughout the year, in order to get
the success that you were looking for.

So I spent $100 just to be pitched on this seminar.

I was choked.

Hey Willie,

The intensive is good but they will "introduce" the many programs they offer. I remember going to it and can honestly say it's powerful but haven't taken any of their offers.

I've had people in my organizations that have and from what they say, it's good stuff. But if you are considering motivation that relates more specifically to what we do, consider JB's Life Transformation Now membership first. It could be just as powerful and even more cost effective.

Also, consider Speed Wealth by T Have, it's strongly recommended!

When we make business decisions it always pays to do research before we put our money down.

That has got to be one of the first lessons new business owners need to learn as obviously even those of us who have been around for awhile still get caught sometimes.

I don't recommend people beat themselves up for those bad decisions though. I encourage people to search for the lesson or the one tidbit of info that they pulled out of the book/course/seminar and run with that.

Be very wary about these things. I try get as much tutorials and training from the internet...write my own notes and there you have it. Check out for testimonials mostly

That seems to be the norm for a lot of these seminars. They get you in with the introductory price, but want you spend much more to get the same information. Do your due diligence with seminars, home based businesses and anything that cost you money. Being well informed in the future will help you a long this learning journey. I did a free 5-day boot camp with a well known network marketer. I learned so much in those 5 days and it was completely free. At the end I had a choice if I wanted to more information I could buy into their program or just take the information I had just learned. It was a great experience for me and I truly learned from the 5-day boot camp.

My friend and mentor Diane Hochman said that "In 2011 and beyond information and content will be free. What we will pay for is experience and mentorship".

That took a while to sink in but it is so true. As has already been stated here, everything is already out there for free. As you pointed out, there had to be a high-pressure close to get their products to move which shows a lack of confidence in the value they offered.

I think this kind of information marketing is dying a slow death. There are just too many marketers attracting through true value.

Just so everyone knows I did get value out of the seminar. And the reason is because I been to these before and I took the good But I can not help but want to warn people before they go.
