There are many people out there strugggling to grow their MLM businesses. The internet is a really touch act. Don't get upset if someone spams you. Just ignore it. In most cases when you receive span like that in the case of Facebook, it's usually because they're just doing mass ads and personal messages. The funny thing is they usually do it the tedious manual way. Yes, people really don't have anything else to do with their time these days.

it's just blatant fear (of having to talk to people face to face or over the phone) and having no sense of direction. This method used to recruit was probably how she was recruited. I agree from a previous post, it's a eloquent way of providing the message, however the message is still SPAM. I would not just lose this opportunity, this person obviously needs some training. Use that to your advantage. Respond back to her and find out more about her experience in this industry. Maybe you can guide her in the right direction. I now see SPAM as a cry for help.

What caught me specifically about this lady was she wrote her spam so eloquently and I'm wondering if she thought maybe it's not spam if you write better.

Hi Joyce - Loved this post because I've just written an article along those lines and posted it here yesterday specifically because this happened to me TWICE yesterday.

One was a FB "friend" who chose to send me a link - no wording just a link - So I clicked "unfriend" - the other was also FB and the link was fairly well disguised as a "this may help you" affiliate link and yet they had clearly not bothered to read up anything on my profile. I left this one until I checked out their wall ..... and then clicked "unfriend" as the same post was going out over and over.

I loved the tip from Nathan and Daniel and when I think I have an "eloquent" one or someone who I genuinely think is just missing a bit of the puzzle, then I shall do this from now on as I do believe some people just need educating. Thanks guys and thanks Joyce for posting an interesting question.

Nicky, would you keep track of your results and let us know how it works for you? The automatic response is to hit the delete button but is that the right decision can only be backed up with some concrete stats.

You may have missed the article because it had an odd title! - "Oil and Water Don't Mix"
(My reference relates to social networking and "selling" not mixing, yet so many people do it!)

I tend to agree that some people are just uneducated as to a better way to do things, nothing wrong with sending them a link to MS or your marketing system's free training. If they aren't spammers they may well take you up on the offer and then you've actually helped them!

I think you just have to go through trial and error, some are just obviously spammers and those I delete!
