No, Ameriplan is NOT insurance. Ameriplan is a medical (& now non medical as well) discount plan service. It is a way for people that either do not have insurance or have insurance however it does not benefit what they need or have used it up. There are no requirements as long as you are a US resident. So that means no age limit, no waiting lists or paperwork to fill out. You can also use your discounts right away meaning you don't have to wait for the cards to come in the mail.

You do have to use the providers provided in your area. If you now of a provider you would like to go to and they are not on the list, you can submit that providers information to request that they are added. You do have to pay at your visit however you will receive discounts from 25% - 80%. There a few different, very affordable plans to choose from and they cover up to 20 people (related or not) Cool, huh?!

I agree with yvette. It is not insurance but a discount plan to help families save on their bill. Your entire household can share the same plan whether related or not, all for no more than $40 a month. It really does work, and the compensation from having it as a business is AWESOME as well.
