Good dissection of the attitudes out there Linda.

I think of internet network marketing as a really exciting possibility, because you can be in this business relatively cheaply compared to brick and mortar business. There is lower risk if you don't throw money away. I am in business for a fifteen hundred bucks, for a training program and some tech services. If I opened a corner store I would spend 40 to 100 K. :D

Hi Tim,
The Federal regulatory environment is a serious hazard. The government is damaging the business environment with too many regulations.

The best thing to do for me is to find products I really believe in and use, which aren't getting marketed through Wal-Mart. That is my strategy.
Best regards,

Ed

Lynda,

I believe you are right about the types.
Well, I guess you could add a 5th, the one who isn't 1-4, but thinks of network marketing as a lottery ticket. They join and hope - kinda a lessor version of network marketer #1.

Yes, the best people to talk to are those in your type #2 and #4. I find that online is one good way to locate them, and follow up off-line.

Best wishes in your ventures.
