Remember being sent a news letter regarding how to create a QR code.
Does anyone else remember seeing that news letter from BNM or could you
reccommend what would be the best product to create a QR code.

One I have used is www.beqrious.com/
However, just a word of warning - it looks like Google are moving away from QR codes. They used to include one in a Places ad but either no long do so, or will stop at the end of April (not sure which).
They are now focusing on local proximity marketing but I havent seen any details about what Google actually means by this.

It has a lot of flexibility on what kinds of codes I can generate and settings for changing things like colors, image format, etc.
