Quality Over Quantity

Postby Jared Hathorn on Tue Apr 19, 2011 9:34 pm

I had found myself worrying how I will show myself being a leader. I kept worrying because I could not reply to many posts and make up valuable post at the time. I thought I would get behind the game if I would not find something to post.

I am very thankful now that I am always slow to post no matter how I feel at the time. Because after thinking about it for some time it is good that I am slow.

The wisest people in the world are not really known for how many words they say. They are known by what they say even if it is so few words said. I realize that the quality of words are far more important than quantity. What is everyone's take on this?

Apart from valuable posts , branding yourself on the internet and especially on FB through groups/fan pages can really do a lot in uplifting a person's image..

Well, Jared, it is good that you are able to speak on subjects that you do know about. On subjects that you are not familiar with, you can learn about.
I found out that it is best to talk about your own experiences on a subject rather than try to discuss something that you may know little about.
Keep getting involved with the discussions and you may realize that you may know more than you think. And from your own experiences, you will also be teaching others your own experiences on subjects!

Good topic. My writing improves when I reduce sentences to fewer words. Wordiness comes easy, like many bad habits.
Best regards,

Thanks for that Jared, yes give quality and value, I do see people replying to every forum post. Its what you say, and what you have some feelings about. For instance, I would not want to comment on SEO, I have no real expertise there, I try to do it but I will never get passionate about it.

So follow your passion and you will never be wrong. you will know when that happens!

it is business philosofy.

I am always for quality, but sometimes need more words to explain that to people.
not every one can understand short quality sentences, so you need to know the audience
you send the words also. for business people it may quite clear, but for others people
it can be very difficult to understand that short quality words.

So on top of that, you need to know the audience, if not your words can be refused
and not understood. Also there are no wisest man in the world :)
