Hey Chris,

One of the best things you can do to build a killer ebook is to copy the format from one that you like. This could mean, join the mailing list of another marketer (who is offering an ebook) and learn the layout. Speak the language and copy the blueprint.

As you might already know, most books are created in the same fashion. What you might have the most difficult time in creating is the content held within. Here are my steps for you today.

ONE. The simplest way I know how to create an ebook is to write something that you are passionate about. One of the fastest ways to start this process is the following.

1. Find your passion
2. Identify 5 key things you can teach about it
3. Learn how to write an article (format for chapter building)
4. Get started

The best thing about all of this is, it's all FREE for the most part. It only takes the time that you put into it. But if you have Pages (mac) or word (pc) then all you have to do is write it and save as PDF.

TWO. Then after writing everything and proofing it a few times, go back into the creating process and add pictures or any other sort of visual stimulation.

THREE. After that, put your finishing touches on the document by adding copy write information at the end of each page.

EXTRA. If you need help creating material inside the book, then turn to the books that relate to it in your industry. Meaning, if you want to write a book on the top 5 secrets of shoe manufacturing, then make sure to read a handful of books about the topic. Then identify the top 5 things they all have in common. Done and done!

BONUS. If you want a really good source to copy the layout from, use Mike Dillards Magnetic Sponsoring (THE LAYOUT - NOT TEXT).

Whatever you decide on, finish it in a timely manner. 25 pages would be ideal.

P.S. Don't bother sending time learning anything complicated yet. Version 1.0 is all you need and the more generic right now, the better for you in your marketing efforts!

What a FANTASTIC thread this is, Ebooks is one area I would love to get into, mainly because they say EVERY ONE has a Book inside them.
