It just dawned on me that these question3 might give the REALLY good people of this forum a way to really get to know one another, answering these 3 questions will help us help each other.
1) What is your MAIN motivation for doing this business? (If its just money, thats ok, but it would be better to be clear on what the money means for you.)
2) What is your main strength, what are you good at? what do you bring "to the table"
3) What is your main challenge? what do you think that if overcome, you will find the success you are looking for?
Honesty might be hard here but believe me it will be soooo valuable the power of the forum to hold you accountable for your goals is truly a beutiful thing.

Re:3 key Questions For Every Networker.
1) What is your MAIN motivation for doing this business? (If its just money, thats ok, but it would be better to be clear on what the money means for you.)
Two reasons I started and still work at it #1 - Time freedom, to enjoy the fruits of my labor and #2 - Retirement Security, I have been self employed for ever and never had enough money to create a nest egg for retirement
2) What is your main strength, what are you good at? what do you bring "to the table"
Mmm, yea, that can be a tough one. I'm not a quitter, although I do get frustrated many times. I am very passionate about self development because I'm sure many people are not much different than myself in that I knew I was capable of doing anything I set my heart to, just didn't know if I had the courage to put my heart out there. Before NWM and working with a coach, I never picked up a phone nor did I look people in the eyes when I talked and to put myself out here on the net, that was out of the question. Through coaching though, I realized that no one but myself will decide how I feel or how I react to anything.
3) What is your main challenge? what do you think that if overcome, you will find the success you are looking for?
I was brought up in NWM with a system that we were taught NOT to talk to people, just plug them in and let the system do the work for you. It wasn't until after all my upline either fell off the face of the earth or just quit that I realized that talking to people was an essential part of building my business. My main challenge at this point is partly in putting my system together (I don't have anything at the moment) and then figuring out what do I say when they call me and ask me about my business. It's a whole new world for me as I've never worked from the point of people asking ME about my business.
Thank you for asking

Re:3 key Questions For Every Networker.
Thanks for question Tom.. You are absolutely correct that if you very truthful and know these three things you can take the next steps in your journey.
1) What is your MAIN motivation for doing this business? (If its just money, thats ok, but it would be better to be clear on what the money means for you.)
For me it was more about time. I already made a lot of money but "TRADING TIME FOR DOLLARS WAS GETTING ME NOW WHERE". I have a young family and all though they had everything they wanted materially speaking it was not fulfilling personally and for our family. As I grow and expand my personal growth and business the motivation has grown to help others achieve their dreams.
This business allowed us to sell a dream house and move to a place in the country that was on our dream board to live life on OUR TERMS Wow what an experience to be debt free and have no ties to a J.O.B.... Now I want to teach others to do the same....
2) What is your main strength, what are you good at? what do you bring "to the table"
I LOVE PEOPLE! It was interesting as I was in out side sales for 24 yrs (100% commission) selling high end commercial printing and when I transitioned into NWM I had to learn an entirely new skill. In my career I made a lot of money because I would do what everyone else said was "IMPOSSIBLE". This was very powerful for me as I brought that with me. I can achieve, be and do anything I want to!!
I bring a great vision, passion and an open mind to learn new ideas, skills and techniques.
3) What is your main challenge? what do you think that if overcome, you will find the success you are looking for?
I'm a perfectionist... I'm learning that I do not have to be perfect to be successful in NWM. One major challenge is the skills needed to build and post web sites. As I learn this I will not have to rely on anyones time schedule to get things up and running. Learning to market my self "YOU.INC" allows me to expand and create other streams of income and build my business even stronger and truly give me the leverage to live life.

Re:3 key Questions For Every Networker.
My motivation for getting involved in NWM is because I wanted to be in control of my financial future and wanting more security for my retirement. It's a way out of the rat race.
My greatest asset is that I am always learning and utilizing the most effective ways to market online and I have a strong desire to be successful. I have no fear of failure. I believe I will be successful no matter what. I also love what I am doing.
My greatest challenge probably is that I am more of an introvert. I am forced to be an extrovert in this business.
Here's to everyone's success and prosperity!

Re:3 key Questions For Every Networker.
Tom, thanks for the push. These are great "connector" questions.
1) Retire from Corporate America...yes, I'm a classic "burned out baby boomer." I want to build my business from home and don't mind working hard. I love to be productively busy, but the flexibility would be so nice...and no more daily commutes with all of the crazies on the way!
2) I'm a good writer, great at editing, enjoy doing things for others and watching others grow their businesses. I am a kind, honest and caring person who sets and reaches goals.
3) Internet marketing continues to be my biggest challenge. Time constraints go along with that. There's so much I want to learn, yet little time at the end of my day to focus on studying.
All the best!

Re:3 key Questions For Every Networker.
1) What is your MAIN motivation for doing this business? (If its just money, thats ok, but it would be better to be clear on what the money means for you.)
My MAIN motivation for doing business is to have the freedom to live my life how I see fit. I feel like I don't have a life because so much time is spent at my J.O.B. I'm not able to spend time with my family, or take them places because of the hours and shift I work. I want my Freedom, physically and financially.
2) What is your main strength, what are you good at? what do you bring "to the table"
My main strength is talking to people. I do it daily in my job and I love to ask questions to get to know people. I bring to the table a strong determination to achieve what ever goals I set for myself.
3) What is your main challenge? what do you think that if overcome, you will find the success you are looking for?
My main challenge is lack of knowledge in the industry. I've been learning lots of things about advertising, articles, blogging, etc. I think once I have learned the secrets for successful advertising then I will be at the place I want to be.

Re:3 key Questions For Every Networker.
1) What is your MAIN motivation for doing this business? (If its just money, thats ok, but it would be better to be clear on what the money means for you.)
I am 75 and I am not interested in travel or great big homes or luxuries. I am not even interested in a trip for a reward, so this turns me off.
What I do want is to pay off all my debts before I leave this world. I want to be able to buy any gift I wish to, for either my children or grandchildren without thinking about whether I can afford it. I want to be able to give to worthy causes when I have the heart to do so, but never seem to have enough money to do so. And I want to have enough income to cover above and beyond what social security does (or I should say-doesn't).
2) What is your main strength, what are you good at? what do you bring "to the table"
My main strength is personal assistance and help with prospects, distributors and customers. I believe in getting right back to someone and taking everything they are concerned about, seriously. Being kind and going out of my way to help a new distributor has gone a long way to achieve loyal followers in my case. I believe that service is the number one thing that breaks or makes a business.
3) What is your main challenge? what do you think that if overcome, you will find the success you are looking for?
My main challenge would have to be learning how to develop leads on my own and get more visitors to my website. I am presently learning more about Google and proper sales letter writing for e-mails and websites. Letters that attract and sell.

Re:3 key Questions For Every Networker.
1) My primary reason for working this business is for my son. He is close to 2 and I don't want to spend any more time away from him. It's just not natural. Providing a good life for my wife and son is the secondary reason. Taking vacations, family activities, boating, quad riding, and having the time to do it. Quality time. I also don't want my son to ever look at other kids and wish he had what they had. That's how I grew up and I hated it. We were piss poor.
2) My primary strength is my ability to help and lead people. I've learned a lot of marketing skills, with my primary Nightclub/Stripclub business, in addition to building friendships and simply networking in general. My sales skills are nothing to shake a stick at. I have no fear.
3) My only challenge is to stay focused on the task at hand. Like many entrepreneurs, I find myself needing like 36 hours in a 24 hour day. My mind is always open like a parachute, to keep learning new things. Unfortunately, that can be distracting. It's good to learn, but I must remember the bottom line. As a result, I constantly learn by driving with educational CD's.
