I'm looking to transcribe a business presentation video so that my new team member can market to a deaf audience, and I'm looking for some software that can help me with that.
Anyone know of anything that works good?

There really isn't a software that does this properly.
That being said, if you actually go the extra mile and have a sign language video made, that would put you competitively miles ahead of any other group trying to market to the deaf community.
(I'm fluent in sign language, so shoot me an email if you'd like me to work on translating anything into sign language... no charge for friends of course)

Re: Anyone know of good Video Transcription software
I know this is an old question, but just in case anyone else would like to know....my wife is a professional transcriptionist and she uses Express Scribe (http://www.nch.com.au/scribe/index.html), which is completely free. It works best with a foot pedal though, which you can buy from Amazon or from the NCH website. If there is anything anyone else would like to know about transcription check out my wife's website post about it: http://www.aprilhodson.com/faq-about-ho ... scription/.

I believe that trafficgeyser (http://www.trafficgeyser.net) now transcribes videos that are added to their system.

I have never heard about this kind of software but still I suggest search for it online to get good discounts on it. If in future you would like to send a video by mail then do look for the options available for you and opt for a communication service providers which are available online.
