Hi,
I am sure I got you on the title
But there is something serious I want to talk to you about. While its great to look at successful people and their pattern, its important not to loose yourself!
Sometime ago, I had a mentor (not anymore) who said: "I want to be just like him!" Well there is something wrong with that picture, what is wrong with that person who thinks he can't be himself?
It takes real courage to be yourself in this very transparent internet world. But there are great rewards when you step up and decide to do it. So we can't hide behind any of them, no matter how great they are. We must be our authentic selves. (And if you catch me not being myself, tell me)
What do you think?

From what I've seen most people do it all the time. Very few people are really authentic online. They are too focused on creating all these fake relationships with people by commenting on a post with the "agree" mindset so they will be "liked", consequently leaving their authenticity behind.
Just watch the posts, watch the flip flops that go on, note how very few people want to stand behind what they posted but will scurry to agree with both sides of an issue.
That is vastly different than watching someone grow. They have an opinion today, had their eyes opened and now with that new piece of information have added to their education. You can also detect those. Those are the ones who don't scream negativity but will actually examine the new evidence and become a better marketer because of it.

Hi,
No, of course you can't copy others. You can be expire by them and copy the foundation. You have to reminder that you are unique and you must take advantage of it.

Where I'm from is called, 'keeping up with the Joneses.'
You don't know where the ''Joneses" got to where they have gotten to overnight. That 'fake it until you make it' theory will soon show that you are only faking it and no one will follow you.
Be original and true to yourself. Getting the education yourself and taking the time to learn what it takes to succeed will pay off in the end.

Hey Lynda:
Not only should you be yourself, for any number of self-respect and confidence issues, you cannot truly be consistent unless you are genuinely yourself. And if you are not consistent, if you are not totally you, you will never gain the respect of others. You can never truly become a leader.
"I always wanted to be somebody when I grew up... I should have been more specific!"

The idea of attraction marketing is to stand out from the crowd and draw people towards you in that sense. You've got a ton of competition if you are doing the same thing everyone is doing.

Re: Why Copy-Cating Will Not Help You Win
I would have to disagree.
Success leaves clues. I am not a proponent of "faking the funk" and trying to be like another person in this industry, but there are certain network marketing principles that do not change. That's hard work and relationships no matter how easy we make it look. Now attraction marketing copycats I see as a good thing because theoretically, you can deliver education and value prior to prospect signing up create stronger rapport when prospecting through personalized/info marketing.
However the same methods of attraction marketing techniques can be applied offline like content creation and youtube/hosted video marketing within your sales funnel.
But I think we should clarify/define copycatting because teaching the same principles a different way with your face instead of your upline's is not copycatting in my opinion.
I believe the strongest benefit of "copycat marketing" will actually cause more people to create their own personalized salesfunnels over standard company websites which may ultimately achieve more than we think.

They do say that network marketing is a business of duplication.

Re: Why Copy-Cating Will Not Help You Win
Networking is a business of duplicating. We all can't be you. We have to be ourselves. We learn from others through our extensive training to help others to achieve their goals.
If you have not learned anything here, copy-cating will not get you there either.
