Hey! That's a nice way to get a few people to your website but this community is really about building value. From looking at your profile Lucy, I see that you've placed your blatant affiliate in the following places:

*Have you heard The News? Check it out here
*Re: A Frustrated GRN Affiliate! UPDATED!
*CHECK IT OUT, WHY JOHNNY BOLTON LEAVES

Again...you'll get some instant traffic but that's really not the way to build a business...especially within the social networking sites.

The name of the game is to provide extremely great content. You should focus on the long-term effects of every action you do. Ask yourself is what you are doing in a strategic alliance with what you want to accomplish and manifest.

The people who are branding themselves as leaders, teachers, mentors, coaches, experts..and most importantly...problem solvers...are the ones who make the big bucks in this game. Posting little or no content with an affiliate link is a great way to get branded as a spammer.

I took a look at your capture page...and it really made Johnny Bolton look like a wizard. What about you...your skills...and what you have to offer? People want to work successful people that can lead them to 'the promise land.' If I came across your site I would surely Google Johnny to work directly with him. When I was a newbie..I branded my 'guru'...and lost countless sales because of it. You build no name...or credibility for yourself branding someone else. Johnny probably appreciates the free promotion you are doing for him though.

Right on Bryan...it is easy to fall into trap of "vomiting" your opportunity/website in forums, but as you said one tends to get ignored more than if you take a bit of time and effort to share info or comment on other postings. Keep on "attracting", BE THE LEADER people want. I myself am learning more and more each day, and striving to add to my own Web 2.0 presence, etc.
