What do you think?

Postby Matt Belock on Sun Jul 27, 2008 4:28 am

I was with Agel for about a month until I wanted to take my work online. So I pretty much put Agel on hold for a little. I created my site and put it up little over 3 months ago. Within 3 months I have gone from an alexa ranking of over 4 million to 650,000 and a PR2. Now as it continues to grow, do you think I should jump back into Agel and promote through my site?

Thanks
Matt

Jason,

Here is the basics for you that you should implement.

1) website (unfortunately must wont do it because it might take some time to get ranked and see traffic. But you can build on autopilot by doing it.)

2) Article marketing

3) Blogging

4) Social Network Sites (stumble upon, delicious and others)

Backlinks, backlinks, backlinks. Get as many backlinks to your site, but you want quality backlinks not quantity.

I can into more for you.

Here is the thing, I dont want to sound like Im pitching you on something. But I originally had my website setup for free, for joining the opportunity that I am involved with. Then as I continued with it I started learning html.

To be honest the internet is huge and you can find so much info on how to create a site.

Jason..

If you have an Agel business started, I would recommend you create a blog to establishan online presence and to start branding yourself as both an online leader and a leader within your group.

I'm not a big fan of free blogs as I think they can limit your creativity and ability to monetize your blog. Seeing how you have a little comp experience I would suggest you look at a self hosted word press blog.

I'm w/ Matt as far as building "blog" traffic - back links, articles, and blog blog blog..

I got my Alexa ranking down to 373,000 in a little over 2 months with some aggresive marketing. Now it's not only gererating traffic, but leads as well.

@ Matt - there's no better time for Agel than the present.. they have a proven 2 1/2 year track record now, proven product acceptance, and a comp plan to "beat the band" ;)

wishing you both much success
john

ps: matt - I'm starting an Agel "mastermind" group in this community if you're interested.. see "groups"
