I have just been given the exclusive rights to sell and distribute a complete line of the best Natural and Organic Beauty Care line of products to North America and later to South America...
I need founders and would like advise on how to start a network marketing company from scratch..
I want this company to be the best and easist Network Marketing company around...I would like to just have a simple Unilevel with most profits being paid to the Distributors, but I do not know if that will fly with most people...NO SPILLOVER and such...
Anyones input is greatly appreciated...
The product is not private labeled for my company....

Re: What is the Best way to start a Networking Company
Paul.Hi!
For me sounds more like an affiliate program.
But in case I am wrong...I would start with the compensation plan...for example here in Oregon you can find a couple of lawyers that are experts in doing comp plans for MLMarketing companies.
If you are panicking I do not blame you...lawyers charge 300 bucks each hour...just there you need a bag of dollars.
The rest will fall into place...but after you got the comp plan figured out...and of course your rules and procedures...that alone will catapult your wholesale price to double.
But it worthy because almost all MLM in wellness operate with more than 500% profit.
Lets take Gatorate which is a cool aid with less than .50 cents of minerals...if you market Gatorate using MLM model every single bottle would cost 10 bucks! Crazy! but that is the way the cooky crumble.
Be well,
Roger Aburto.

Re: What is the Best way to start a Networking Company
Thanks Roger...
You may be right it may be an affiliate program...I am not verse on all the ins and outs of what is what...
I want to stay away from the complicated payplans that only Lawyers can understand that is why I was hoping this would be exciting to a lot of people who are also frustrated with those plans...I will stick with my plan old Unilevel...Its easy and doesn't a lawyer to understand....
Also the payplan allows for the retail price to remain at what the product has been selling for without blowing it through the roof with a bunch of bells and whistles that most people never see...I do understand that part of it...
If that is Affiliate Marketing Verses Network Marketing so be....
My main problem is how to reach people with my Dream so that they see what I see...both in the products and the Company I am creating...A place where people can actually be at the beginning of it all...
I do greatly appreciate your input and will continue on my quest to build what I Dream to be the Ultimate Company for the Little guy ( or Big Guy )....
"All visions that change the world start somewhere" I just came up with that LOL
Thanks again
Paul

Re: What is the Best way to start a Networking Company
Hi, Paul.
How exciting it is to start a network marketing company. I've been where you are.
A binary would work most in favor of the company.
A three-level unilevel fares better for the distributors if it pays 20% on level 1, 16% on level 2, and 14% on level 3.
Perhaps a hybrid would be attractive: Binary for the initial purchase and unilevel for the monthly autoship.
If you're starting from scratch, you may find it best to do a prelaunch and build a database before starting the company. That way you can generate a big initial purchase to get the company started and put some cash in the bank.
If a company called Multisoft still exists, they'd be great to handle your websites/back office. Extremely low costs, but everything will look and run professionally.
After the launch, you'll be able to identify towns where there's enough activity to hold meetings, etc.
And just get a conference call number for daily calls and you should be in business.
Just make sure you can ship products and send checks in a timely manner.
Hope that helps. I know a lot more than I can type here. You can contact me if you want.

Re: What is the Best way to start a Networking Company
Brother,
It helps greatly..
I was actually thinking of a Unilevel 11 deep rather then 3...First leg is 20% then 5%,4%... etc down to level 11...From a distributors point of view is better to be top heavy with the commission percent or deep?
Your input would help me greatly in my payplan design...
Also I am looking at AJ Matrix for the software..Any input on them?
With Gratitude,
Paul

Re: What is the Best way to start a Networking Company
Paul,
I'm not familiar with the AJ Matrix software. I used Multisoft, and was quite pleased with it.
A deep-paying unilevel will be in the best interest of your company, because most distributors will not build deep enough for it to pay off for them.
I guess another way to look at it would be that the distributors would get the short end of the stick.
But that happens most of the time anyway. 10%-15% of the distributors generate 85%-90% of the sales.
The net result of almost any payplan is that an individual distributor receives 5%-10% of all the money attached to him.
That means, you, your customers, their customers, their customers' customers, and so on, as far as it goes.
Even though your payplan cuts off for a distributor at a certain level, there will be company volume below it that you see... but the distributor doesn't.
That distributor's paycheck should be 5%-10% of the dollar volume attached to him (not "PV", "BV", etc.)
Hope that makes sense.

Re: What is the Best way to start a Networking Company
Paul,
Back in 2004-2005, when I had my company, their base price was $500 a month.
Plus, they charged monthly based on how many records were in the system.
The type of company you're talking about could run you about $2,000 a month, in my estimation. So a very reasonable price indeed for the service.
(I don't represent Multisoft, and I don't get any kind of kickback or anything. But I was very satisfied with their service.)
