I get this question quite often and here are my recommendations...

1. Learn Attraction Marketing

2. Make a list of all of the online/offline marketing and traffic generation strategies there are out there. Then pick your top 2 and out of those focus on the one strategy you like the most (what's easiest for you to do and enjoyable). Then, master than strategy! Become one of the top 100 experts in that field.

3. Find your target market. Ex. If you're online, do your keyword research and target the specific group based on your findings.

4. Learn to attract and sponsor only those who you know have potential to be a leader and who can build a business like this. (This ensures a strong downline)

5. While you study these concepts and strategies, implement them! Practice, Practice, Practice. And you will start seeing your results get better and better.

Complete all of these and you'll see how you can literally make money on demand and grow a hugely successful business!

Of course there are more little details in between, but don't worry about those right now. Just get started!

I would encourage those who are new to the MLM/NWM industries to go to a site called http://www.networkingtimes.com

There they have all kinds of great training on and about the MLM/NWM industry.

I see so many good people fail because they do not have quite the understanding of the industry they are trying to build a business in.

If we were going to build a brick and motor business we'd need and want to know our industry, so why not we in MLM/NWM and IM.

My advice to new people would be to spend your time building your MLM business, not buying systems and trying to figure out online marketing.

All you really need is a simple capture page to get names and emails. You can drive traffic to your website with online or offline methods.

So many people are busy learning internet network marketing that they forget to build their MLM business.

I would start off networking with the people you know know (warm market) but not doing it the way MLM teach but the way that traditional businesses use it.

Then I would progress to direct response which is where all the skills that MLMers use online came from but they used it offline.

Then once you have developed enough internet skills then move on to internet marketing.

To start off , You just need to expose the business as many people as you can daily and play the number's game..Start talking to people and expose your business..keep it simple..

If you talk to 100 people in a week , 10 might show interest and 5 may join...

More people you talk to in a week , higher success rates you will have...

On the side , give an hour every day to your online marketing , choose one online tactic and stick to it..and give it time ever day to build your list from the internet on the side...


This is all you need to start...

Fantastic point Charles! Everybody gets caught up in the new shiny object of the week. They need to simply get to work and start building the business and not worry about all the other hype and nonsense online.

Good points Adil! I like the simplicity of your methods as well. And because online marketing can take a while for many newbies to grasp, I like that you have them only spend 1 hour a day on it until it grows into something that's producing.

I think creating a simple process or SSP as I like to call it is important. Once you have a simple system for driving leads and traffic, sponsoring and duplicating, the next step is to just go to work! And keep repeating that process over and over again.
