If you are looking to build your business bigger and quicker than most then talk with people who are already interested in what you have to offer!

When you have to call someone you just met, or a friend, or acquaintance, and eventually come out with the purpose of your call was to try to get them into your business opportunity.
Most people are turned off to that!..

Dont get me wrong..I highly value networking but I just think there is a smarter method out there for you to utilize!

Absolutely, by doing searches you can find people already searching for what you have to offer. That is called target marketing. And make sure anything you post has those target key words that they are searching for. Never go calling all the cold contacts that have not raised their hands!

I agree. It's a waste of time and leads if you keep calling random people. By narrowing down your prospects, you will not only save time and money but also get much higher probability of reaching your target.

Building a target list from the internet is the way to go..thanks for sharing your thoughts Lynda..

I am finding out that having the right people in your business is harder than you may think. Everybody is not right to do this business. It does takes a lot of patience and hard work. Some will falter and drop out. But, I am also finding out that you still have to talk to everybody whether they are in your target market or not. They may know someone who is in your market. You still have to let people know what you are doing and the opportunities that are available for their benefit. Many might not wish to join you now, but as they watch your progress, they may want to join you later. It is still best to keep in touch with every one you meet.

I think for sales , it is okay to have a wider range because it is a numbers game in the end..but for recruiting and building your team , it is better to have a targeted strategy,,atleast that works for me..

For recruiting , I build my list from the internet using lead capture pages with a specific strategy so that in the end I have a targeted database from which people sign up with my business...

There are some Great replies here & If you are using Attraction Marketing The Right Way then you shuld be attracting the right people to you as long as you try to help them then you have a win win Situation.
