Over the last few years I have been feeling a bit sorry for myself..... having said that I am sure that there are many more than me that have a much better reason than myself for feeling that way .
Anyway to cut a long story short this morning in my diary I read this quote and it really made me stop and think, here it is:
"When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us"
Alexander Graham Bell
That quote made me feel a bit ashamed of my myself and I just wanted to share the quote and my feeling regading it. .....thats all.....
Have a great weekend, and look forwards, not backwards, regards Jim T.

Re: Consider this.....
Sometimes we cannot see those opportunities if we allow ourselves to get bogged down in self-pity. It does take some serious personal development to rise to a point where we are not caught up and weighted down with our challenges.
So for me remembering to be grateful for all the thing that I already have, flooding that through my mind, it will drown out those feeling of inadequacy, fear, pain and discomfort that comes from challenges. Then that opens your mind to receive new inspiration...

Great point. Sometimes things don't appear the way we think they are going to, but know that things will fall into place the way they should, if you keep your mind open to the opportunities (and by this I don't mean jumping from business opportunity to opportunity) I mean the connections you can make with people and the partnerships you can make that can take you to the next level.

Sometimes we do put unneccessary stress upon ourselves.
Looking back we can see our own progress that we have made in our personal development.

Focus on what we have, not on what we don't. Abundance is all around us. What are we grateful for that we already have?

Jim, you are not alone my friend. There have been times in my life that I had a permanent red ring around my ass from the pity pot I was on. Today I try to remember the old story about feeling so sad walikng around with only one shoe till I met the man with only one foot.

Hi Jim,
keep positive, the time to worry is if we do not
learn from our mistakes.
To keep doing the same things over and over
again and expecting a different result is madness.

Remember the person who does not make a mistake
is doing nothing!!!!
All the best Brian.

Jim,
It matters little how many doors open when one closes. YOU MUST WALK TROUGH IT! Otherwise, what have you gained?
You can't channel stagnant water, Jim. You must take ACTION!
Be well,
Mike
