I wasted some time today and looked this up. Did you know there are over 7,000,000,000 (7 billion) people in the world. That leaves 6,974,000,000 who don't have his book :-)

More importantly. That means there are a whole lot of people for us to talk to, mentor, and help build their dreams. With those numbers finding 1000 people to join our business really isnt very many ;-)

Robert that is a good way to introduce people to the business, Robert Kiyosaki's book! People are more anxiously trying to find something now than ever before. There are people that would have never considered it before. Network Marketing is in its new Renaissance!

Lynda,
You make a good point...

I recently listened to a Jim Rohn presentation and he said something like "I'm working full time on my job and part time on my fortune."

Most people are terrified of the idea of quitting their jobs, or "retiring 15 years early", or whatever things we throw around to try to entice people to join.

It is fine to let people know that network marketing has the potential to provide an above average lifestyle, but truth is, most people have never even come close to believing their dreams about having finer things in life.

It is important to use vocabulary that average people can relate to and believe...whether they are newbies or have been in network marketing awhile.

Talking about "part time" while still working, or earning an "extra paycheck" are ideas anyone can relate to.
Some people are going to engage in personal development and actually change their habits so they become productive in their business and some won't.
All we can do is show them how...the rest is up to them.

yes you are right it can be scary to think about being totally responsible for the income that you are producing, a extra paycheck sounds less threatening. As someone grows into the entrepreneurial attitude, then they will be able to think in a different way, but at first they cannot even comprehend much of our language!

You know we really have to guard our tongue its really easy to speak out things that don't serve us. We were not taught to say good things and positive things unless we had parents that they themselves went through a lot of personal development!
