We all know that one of the fastest ways to grow our network marketing businesses is to consistently offer tremendous value to potential prospects. I see a lot of people focusing on lead generation (which is of course very important) but it seems that fewer & fewer people are providing the kind of valuable education that people brand new to the MLM industry desperately need.
Most people that I see posting on this forum provide GREAT value with their insights, however around the web I'm seeing people sell over-hyped systems that promise the world, but at the end of the day leave the average budding network marketer confused & disheartened (at least from conversations I have had with several new networkers).
One thing that has made a big difference in my business is really getting to know the specific reasons WHY prospects want to start in network marketing, or find a new opportunity. In fact, I have found that many people are not just in it for the income potential & family time, but for many other reasons. In fact, 3 days ago I talked with a guy who just wanted to create a residual income stream so that he could focus on his lifetime goal of becoming a professional golfer (very cool story).
It's important to know what your prospect wants before you can provide them with true value. Each and every one of us have a slightly different perception of value, and your prospect may define value as something totally different than what it would be to you. So focus on custom-tailoring your message so that you are not only valuable to the masses, but provide a unique value to each and every individual prospect that you come into contact with!

I have to agree with you more and more. The other day I posted a video because I was disappointed about the type of content that I had been reading lately. What jumps out at me is that you are COMMUNICATING with people, prospects and that is excellent. We are a new age where it is imperative that we communicate with other marketers, prospects, relationships and other people who are just curious about the internet and how to make money on it.
You are a great example of a true network marketer, you find out people problems, give them solutions. And your Content has to do with their problems and solutions.

One of the most important things you can do in this industry is always consistently provide high value to them. It positions you as an expert, and builds a strong relationship with prospects.

This should go without saying, but I think it is also important to tailor the specific marketing methods your prospects can use to find leads to their strengths. While I am certainly a huge fan of attraction marketing, I also know that some people are better on the phone, or networking in person.
I always do everything that I can to show others how to generate their own leads online if they want to do that, but it's important to remember that it is THEIR business too and if they are more comfortable with other promotional methods...we should support them!

It is true when you are dealing with your prospects you want to offer them as much value as possible. Your downlines success will also make you money so you want to make sure that they know everything that they need to know to duplicate what we do.
