Hey there all,
I had a conversation recently with someone about why I don't call my leads. I tried to explain to this individual that to each his/her own you have to do what works for you.
But for me, I don't call my leads.... I prefer to have my leads call me.
In my opinion, when my leads call me they are in less of a defensive mindset because they initiated the contact. They're also more qualified because not only did they take the first step and opted in to my list. But they took it one step further and picked up the phone....
To me that translates to "My hand is up pick me!". From there it's up to me to close them during that phone conversation.
What's your view on this.... Do you call your leads or not?

Sometimes...
I also hire people to call my leads and close them but I also call them myself. Most of the one I do call I call after they bought my $7 product even if they don't buy I still call a lot of them.

I think if you new you should call every lead you have. Since you are new you are not a sales person you should only call them to build a relationship you can do this by showing person intertest.
Once you have a enough leads you can decide to call or not to call your leads.

Hey there Chris. Good point!
I should add that even though I don't call my leads, I always reach out to everyone them on the social sites to start that relationship building process.

Definitely. The optin was a cry for help and most don't even know what they are really looking for. So yes, I start the conversation and then listen.

Hey there Joyce! Regardless of how you reach out to your leads, rather its a phone call, Skype, Facebook, ect. I think you nailed it.... You must listen to what they're telling you!

Hey there Jacob, how are you?
I don't feel I'm leaving money on the table at all. Again it's been my experience that 3-4 out of every 10 leads that opts in, do so out of curiosity or some other "I'm not really interested" reason.
For these folks I allow my funnel to do its job... And it does because most opt out. Yes I could hire someone to do it but I'm not interested in doing that at this point.

I call everyone who buys a product.
But for those who don't I only call about 1/3 of them.
I love talking to the ones who have purchased, they are on such a higher level.

Hmmm I call my leads all the time. It is good to call them because what if a great lead was just waiting to be called? When I first joined Lightyear I never picked up the phone and I believe I am a great network marketer. It all depends on the perso's view it is true that if you let them call you, you will get little to no prospects.
