Do you mean lead generation or sales conversion? I've always seen blogging as a conversion strategy.

Leads are great, but sales are the bottom line right?

Re: What is your Favorite Way To Market?
There are certain ways of marketing I know how to do and they produce results. They're not my favorite and to be honest my favorite right now won't be my favorite after a little while.
My favorite is the one I am learning how to do at the time. I thoroughly enjoy not having a clue and working on a strategy until I get it.

Not exactly sure what you are saying here. So you enjoy the learning process? What marketing that you are presently doing that creates results? I think most will find that the favorite will be the one that truly gets the results for you, maybe not but that is my opinion anyway.

Well yes most people will like the one that gets results because most people look at the results first. The 97 percent failure rate in a large part is due to this kind of thinking. People look at the results first and they don't see what it takes to get there. You have to start at the beginning not the end if you want to see success.
Another problem I see is the huge mistake made between learning and in this case marketing. They look at learning as something completely different, a seperate entity when it's not, it shouldn't be anyway. Learning needs to be a process of learning, doing what you've learned, then analyzing the results. Then you learn from your results, apply what you've learned and analyze some more.
Learning should never be something that's seperate from action, In this case marketing. Learning without applying means nothing and will get you no where fast.
To many people settle for something because it works. Usually because it's easy also. Take blogging for instance. It's easy to blog if all your going to do with it us write content on a regular basis. You may even see some results but you're leaving money on the table if your not reviewing every blog post you make and taking what you've learned from them and applying it to your next blog post. Unfortunatly most people look up some keywords write a few post and sit back waiting for the money to come rolling in. Isn't going to happen.
So the answer is No, it is not the learning by itself I enjoy it is the marketing that comes with it. So my favorite marketing strategy is applying what I learn and especially when it is something I have not done before.

Hands down my favorite is content creation...
With an emphasis on internet based publishing, content creation (including syndication and promotion of that content) is the best long term marketing strategy I have found over the last 9 years, which is when I started putting a focus on it.
With content creation you have the opportunity to truly kick out evergreen marketing energy. Over time the content can build authority, viral engagement within your audience, can be tweaked and updated to maintain and gain positioning in the search results, etc. The list goes on.
Content is also a consumable commodity, which is an excellent asset to cultivate in your business. Like in the network marketing industry itself, consumables keep your audience coming back for more; especially if the content "fed & nourished" them... you can create a very loyal following.
When it's done correctly its also one of the most effective sales strategies I've ever found.
Within the context of relevant, useful, valuable content you can sell just about anything with relative ease. Let the other benefits I mentioned kick in, evergreen, viral, etc., and you have an extremely powerful marketing platform to work with.

Thanks Richard as always you bring great value to a forum! I too believe that content creation is one of the most valuable things we can do, and giving heavy emphasis to our blog!
- Many key things here:
Evergreen (meaning it is useful forever created once
Builds authority (creates the ability for you to show your authority)
Viral Engagement (Shared content because it is valuable)
Create sales (when we are giving good content, they will buy if we make it easy for them)
I am sure there are many more things to glean from your post again thanks!

Re: What is your Favorite Way To Market?
Right now I like blogging. The problem is finding where I left off. I was blogging every day. Then once a week. Content creation became a realization thinking up new material.
Going back to the 'tried and true' favorite is marketing with people. Finding what they are doing by showing interest in what they are doing. Getting involved in the community and helping others where possible. Many times it is just giving support showing you care.
People had been listening to me and starting to choose a better diet for themselves. Now they want me to join them and come to some of their events.
The next favorite way is to learn what I have bought and never used. Learning something not new, but not used.

I haven't tried it as of yet, but I have spoken to someone who was successful with the same idea; but creating content material to engage in face-to-face interaction as a vendor at a flea market. That way, the customer/potential team member can purchase the product as well as take away useful information about the product(s) and a way to contact you.
