Do you mainly use free advertising methods or paid advertising?
My favorite free advertising method is Link Exchanges. With these I've tried to get phone numbers as well as name and email but it doesn't work that well. Name and email only works much better.
For paid advertising I'm not sure where to start. At one time I used Google PPC and placed ads using the MLM company name and it worked ok. It became a little expensive but I did sponsor a few people. That was a few years ago and I know the cost has gone up.
I'm now thinking of both banner ads and classified ads on high traffic sites. I know of 3 very high traffic sites in the work at home Niche. I am a little skeptical because I have not tried this before. Depending on ad placement on the front page it can be costly and since I'm not thoroughly rehearsed on my phone skills I'm not sure now is the right time.
What do you use and how is it working for you? Are there drawbacks that need to be looked at before spending the money?
Thanks in advance.

My favorite type of advertising is having your own Google indexed blog where you can write articles that not only help others, but helps you get free traffic.

I've finally embraced Video marketing and loving it. It feels like i can be more creative. I'm not good at it yet but with the help of some resources and some trial and error I will be.

From facing warm market prospects daily to writing blogs gets most of my attention.
I can inform, educate and offer many ideas on most any subject without mentioning any particular product.

I love to use as many traffic sources as I can but I don't have success with all of them. What works best is solos and Mass Optimized Webpage Generation. Most of my methods are not free, ether I have to pay for tools or marketing.
