Hey, thanks for those good tips. I'm personally starting with a mixture of social media and forum marketing, and then looking to do some form of paid advertising too. What sort of results are you getting from the mobile and text marketing you are doing?
Best wishes, Hayley McKeever

Oh I am so excited! These tips are all so good and one in particular from Eric Waler's post #6 on creating valuable blogs is a answer to my expansion, I have never created one and wanted to learn the steps. Those steps were quite clear and easy to follow, I will be building my first blog this week (smile).

There are so many good guidelines in this community and I feel like a child in a candy store wondering which one to pick (smile).

I have used You Tube for posting video's before and have recently discovered the Animoto video creation site and hopefully I can give back to the community on how it works out for me. Thank you one and all.

Hi Gwendolyn. I know how you feel about this site, it's packed with people full of great knowledge who are only too willing to help! I would be really interested to find out how you get on with Animoto as I'm just about to set up a video album on my website. Plus, I've just joined YouTube and got my own channel - how do you feel about using it? Is it easy? Thanks, Hayley ;)

Hello Hayley,

I will be creating my first video on Animoto this weekend. They have a free membership so you can make 30 second video's and the steps seem to be quite simple. You can do more with it for a small fee but I have learned to make use of the "free" parts first to make sure the full product is good enough for the money (smile).

I only have one video on You Tube right now and it is the same one that is on my better networker page. It was pretty easy to set up an account and upload though. The person recording it for me kind of messed up on the playback sound but the message is clear. When I complete a good Animoto video, I will be uploading that one to You Tube as well.

I did also take a more indepth look into the information on the blogging info, I went to the site that it came from originally and it also has a lot of good information on it for blogging at the beginner level. I will keep you posted on that and welcome aboard, I see you are a newbie just like me (smile).

Here is the only tip I give new people:

Make a MINIMUM five year commitment to market your business online minimum 1-2 hours each day, 7 days a week. If you miss a day, start over at day 1.

That's probably the best advice I can give you.

Hello Hayley,

As I stated in my last post, I did create a couple of video's using Animoto this weekend and it worked out great! I am now in the process of updating my You Tube pages so I have somewhere to put my video's (smile).

If you are new to video creation like I am and want a fast & easy way to market yourself on You Tube, Facebook, Twitter, Betternetworker or any other location (even email), this site is my suggestion to you.

The costs are minimal and even the "free" account could help in your businessess marketing efforts.

I am not a full member on Betternetworker as yet but I would still like to help out whenever I can with any suggestions I can give. Just Google "Animoto" and see for yourself the benefits of this site in furthering your marketing efforts. I hope this will be helpful to you!
