Why Does Everything Sounds Like A Scam?

Postby Mario Sanders on Thu Apr 19, 2012 4:15 am

A few months back I introduced my program to a friend. I told him how it works and showed him the results of what I had been doing. Okay, he did not buy into the program or noticed the results of the benefits of this program.
Later, he talked to me about getting a juicer. It's a start as I continued to listen. He bought the juicer, but never used it. What good is something if you never use it?
Now my friend approaching me about some protein pills or some other type of vitamins he was offered. A good sounding programs with probably great benefits.
He tells me these things because I do listen and discuss with him what he wants to do. He thinks everything is a scam and the negativety sets in.
In the meantime, he is not addressing his primary health issue. I can see before long he would need a doctor's intervention and higher costs instead of doing a little preventive health measures.
How can I convince him that some programs are not scams but do the research and find something and get into it that would help you. I am always here to help him make that decision.

Hi Mario,

I cannot blame your friend about thinking that everything on the web is scam. You cannot force him to believe otherwise especially if all of the transactions he have made through the internet failed. All you need to do is just talk to him and let him know about some of the legitimate companies that you have transacted with a few weeks or months ago. There are indeed scams on the internet but not everything you find is. There are companies that are actually credible when it comes to goods and services. You just need to be watchful and cautious about whom you transact with in order to avoid fraudulent transactions. If something sounds too good to be true, it might actually is.

Mario,

Don't know what to tell you about your friend's health issue. It's his life, his body, his responsibility. The thing is you care more about his well being at this point than he does. There are people out there who think that when things get bad enough a doctor will prescribe a pill and it will all get better. It's the main point that drove me out of the health field. Knock, knock, anybody home? Anybody care?

Regarding the scams question it's absolutely logical. The hucksters of the world have found the Fountain of Youth, a platform of never ending suckers... The Internet. With so many hopefuls out there it's a scammer's dream making it difficult for the legit folks to make a living. Heck, all you have to do is look to Washington to see that we've become a people that don't trust. A handshake does not mean what it once did.

Keep putting out your intention. Focus your attention on finding those who cherish their health and still have a degree of trust in their bones.

Thanks Rick,
I'm excited about the health field. I can't get enough of it to tell everybody about their health. I do not try to sell anybody on anything. I am truly concerned about people's health whether they join me in a healthy program or not. My intention was never to scam anyone but introduce them to a healhier lifestyle. As long as they can find a program that works for them that will be fine.
I told some friends about their own health and to do something about it. They did not seem to listen or it may have been too little or too late to do anything about it. They are all gone now.
I am really addressing the nay-sayers and the tire kickers around me and these are some of the responses that I am receiving.
Thanks for all the contributions to this worldwide delimina.

.

Mario you probably know or have heard of Holly Wheeler.
She's one of my mentors.

From the time she was a teen she had severe health issues.
Paul Devlin, another of my mentors, put a bottle of Body Balance on her door step every month for several years before Holly responded. Now she's a Crown Diamond, financially independent, got her health back and started traveling the world and living the life she missed out on, all at the ripe age of... well I'll let her share that part. 8-) (love you momma bear!)

The point is you never know.

Here's my advice...
Stop trying to convince him - that doesn't work.
Since he's a friend, if you believe strongly enough about helping him give him a bottle.

People can't be told about radiant health.
People can't be told what "I feel better" feels like, they have to experience it for themselves.

If he keeps the same opinion after that, well sorry - he's unreachable.

If you believe your product is good enough to do what the advertisment says it will
do I have a question? Are you using the product?

It is hard to convince someone your product will work miracles if you aren't using
the product.

Ask your friend if he would try your product without paying for it. All you want him
to do is tell you how it is working for him. If he is willing to do that give him a bottle
and if it works you will have a good testimonial and a paying customer.

Thanks Richard,
I've given away the products for about a year now, without any positive results. As long as I was giving away the products, I would always have people wanting samples. That, however, proved quite costly.
Yes Delton,
I would have to be on the products myself to show prospects that I am benefiting from the products. I started a policy that if they signed up I would give a sample bottle to them until their product arrive.
One customer begged me for a sample before she would buy. I gave in and handed her a sample to last a month. The handy powder pouches were available for her to use a whole month before she buys. It is going on the second month, and she has not opened the pack, and she has not ordered the products as she promised.
All these customers can see the results in me that something is working and it could work for them as well. I am a little older than these customers with more energy than most of my coworkers. Their lifestyles have not changed as I see that most people do not listen until they have a doctor's intervention to put them on track.

Mario, you just have to accept the fact that some people aren't going to buy anything from someone they know..

I had a brother-in-law die a few years back at the age of 59 yrs. His reason for not trying natural products was his insurance wouldn't pay for them.

My advice is forget those that aren't interested in your product and spend your time, more profitable, looking for those that are.

Those are my feelings as well, Delton.
Many of my friends have been told on my products. They did not choose to get with any program. They are gone now. Another friend just quit today from his job because of health reasons.
It has been very disheartening to see your friends go through so much health problems that could be solved by just checking all avenues of health care.
People do not listen until they have to go to their doctor for some medications.
I have noticed that when people smoke, they want to smoke. If there is a problem they go to their doctor, then continue smoking.
We are in a virtual world and see things differently. Others think life is what it is and deal with whatever comes along. We can forget the ones who do not listen. We are looking for that one who is listening and getting their attention.
Truly everything is not a scam, though it seems, but there are people out there to help us find our way.
