Hi Everyone!

I'm new to the community!

So far I'm really enjoying connecting with all of you and your posts.

One thing I wanted to bring to the table came to me as I was having lunch with a few friends who are struggling in this industry of network marketing. They aren't seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

How can I help them see that there's always a little rain before the rainbow. They have so much potential, and I want to see them succeed!

Any advice?

Have a photo placed on your file. And also have your members find their 'why', a plan that this is what they want to do. Never give up their goals.

Monique, if your friends are struggling in Network Marketing you could encourage them to follow in your footsteps and become a member of Better Networker.

It is a great place to learn and connect with Network Marketing professionals who openly share advice and strategies that are currently working now.

Ultimately your friends will have to decide whether or not this is the industry for them. Network Marketing is for everybody, but Everybody is not for Network Marketing.

Obstacles are just a part of life, get use to them!

Monique,

I know you want them to succeed, but do they want to? That's the first hurdle. Second, you can't predict the weather and neither can they. It may rain for a long time before the sun breaks through.

NWM is as much a personal-development business as it is an income producing business. How much personal development work are your friends doing? What's the last book that they have read? Do they know what their passion is and why they are in NWM?

Buy them each a copy of Think and Grow Rich, (Hill) or The Science of Getting Rich, (Wattles) and talk about the book over lunch.

Ask them how many people they are presenting their business to each day? Be a stand for them to show the business to 3 to 5 people a day. It's important to have a little money flowing so they get excited.

Have them turn off the evening news, cancel the newspaper and stop listening to talk radio. They should be listening to training tapes in the car and when not engaged in showing their business.

And, finally, challenge them to something... to bring in a new distributor within a week.

Lots of "stuff" you can do.
