No offense, but too many "Johnny and Jane come latelys online nowadays that think they know it all like a 15 year old kid does, and it's pretty much a time waster to begin and I've pretty much seen it all (nothing new under the sun), and basic direct response methods that actually help the little guy or gal struggling with cash flow as it is when starting out, make sales sooner rather than later or go broke trying like most before they turn an actual profit in their hobby that isn't a business yet.
And most of the blogs I seen online (95% that is) are well done and content is well written, so what this guy says on his blog doesn't hold water in 95% of the cases, but heck it's his selling point to subscribe to his blog.
DIRECT RESPONSE ADVERTISING ONLINE AND OFFLINE
In other words offline and online direct response advertising still works better than most social media platforms do dollar and sense wise anyway, and nothing has changed since 1995 that I've been online and more so now with all the noise getting louder and louder online with people trying to teach me, you or anybody else for that matter, how to (you guessed it) make money online.
Give me a break already! Please, I really need one from all the wannabees online nowadays who can put together an nice blog and maybe know how to write a little bit, then they think that they are an internet marketing guru in some area (and most aren't and just rehashing crap over and over in their own words), so again, please "give me a break from all the noise already! Thanks, I really needed that true rant.![]()
WHAT MOST OVERLOOK WITH SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING - EXTENSIVE MARKETING RESEARCH
FACT: Forester Research (big huge research Company if you don't know who they are) did extensive research on 1,000" of companies big, medium and small marketing online using social media marketing using real professionals that do the marketing for them and they found that less than 1% of gross revenue generated is through social media marketing.
Mostly being use for "Customer Retention Marketing" and that Search Engine Marketing and Email marketing (fortune in the follow up right) has been their bread and butter up to this point and it's getting even more competitive online than off line nowadays and I don't see that trend changing any time soon.
Of course there are exceptions (like myself for example) and many others are making a living melding online with offline marketing (key) and using social media, but I do it for a living in and outside of my business so there you go Willie.
With that, hope all is well, and Good Day!My latest post on BN explains more here. http://www.betternetworker.com/articles ... g-business
Well Willie, not to knock the guy really, just that he states the obvious for anybody with a half a brain cell and then says he can show you how to blog to profits basically, and that's true to an extent, but most are never going to do the really hard work it takes to make a blog even profitable to the point where they are making even 2k a month if they are fortunate, and probably working more hours than the job they wanted to free themselves from.
I know a few ladies that have very successful blogs on anywhere from Search Engine Marketing to work at home mom stuff, and it's no cake walk, and they work their tail off for maybe two or three thousand gross a month (and 90% not residual income) and what ends up happening is; most bloggers just create themselves a job like most people do with affiliate sites, and other so called free and 1 dollar opportunities online. In other words, they didn't read the "emyth" and other books where you need to leverage your time and money, and delegate, and duplicate "process" through people, not just a website, blog, autoresponder etc, and those tools take maintenance and most are not capable of maintaining them well.
I spoke about this guy I'll call Rich S. and his take and the guy is very sharp and makes a ton of money, and he has showed guys like Mike Dillard, and tons of other like him how it's done online and again most don't have the skill set or extra energy for all the high level skilled tasks involved in the whole process. Did I just say process? I think I did!Anyway, I elaborate extensively on this and what William Deming said long ago so it's nothing new under the sun, and I think it's worth your read William, really. And if not, I'll ship you some healthy snacks on me.

So again, the guy put together a nice looking blog and now he's a guru I guess, and is telling me on his landing/sales page on his blog you pointed people to that he's going to change their lives by blogging. Maybe a little maybe more, and it may be fulfilling but it's not very likely it's going to be life changing financially and people really need to know that up front, because even the professions have a hard time making more than what a good paying job would pay blogging, and the job would probably be a lot less hours to do and make the same amount of money.
Anyway, 95% of the people have to "wake up" to what the top people have been saying for years in and out of the Network Marketing industry, and it's basically this, the little guy or gal with a very limited budge (if any) for marketing and advertising, has the best chance of making the super big bucks through Network Marketing, because it's obvious to any savvy business person you have to leverage time, money, and "process duplication" that have very high predictable results.
I think I just coined a new phrase in the Network Marketing Industry Willie and it's "process duplication".Anyway, once you see the article post I put up on BN, you'll see more of what I mean, and as the old saying goes, "The new becomes old, and the old becomes new again." Just like the bible says, "nothing new under the sun." and not any one platform is the magic bullet for 95% marketing online and it's usually a combination of many things working together and most can't seem to put it all together with all the new tools, and heck I have a tough time myself keeping up at times and I do this crap for a living.
