Promote your network marketing business !

Oh no, she says. How do I do that?

Just one tip: Search out and find your niche on Facebook. Join groups. Enter into discussions. Listen for the problems your products can offer the solution for. Offer them. Bingo - cash flow is a non issue and you are building a residual income at the same time.

Focus on your products. It's the only way to make money and cash flow becomes a non entity.

Focus on moving product... SHAZAM! Image What a novel idea

You know its funny Joyce, here we all are, in the Direct Sales Industry and yet, no one seems to want to actually sell the products from the company they partnered with.

But then they go out and toil over earning affiliate commissions SELLING memberships, ebooks, info products, coaching, seminars, tools, gadetry and all sorts of products except for the products they should be selling. Assuming of course they actually want to build a network marketing business.

You see stories all the time of people going broke, running out of money... No Cash Flow.
But the answer is sitting right there in front of them.

The reason the lame analogy always gets used about having a "garage full of soap" is because people refuse to learn how to do what it is this industry was built on... Moving Product.

Instead, its shifted, moved completely over to the easy part of the equation, i.e. Help People. So you have these people out there thinking they are adding value to people's lives by giving everything for free. But they dont realize they are poisoning society. They are poisoning the industry. And they are setting each and every person they bring into the business up for massive failure. Why?

Because they taught them a welfare system.
They taught them to always give for free and cross your fingers.
They taught them to stay broke.
That's not business.

They should have started by teaching them how to sell.
I dont care if someone wants to call themselves a sales person or not.
If you don't learn how to sell (i.e. how to share effectively, invite, followup and close a deal)
YOU'RE TOAST! Gone. Kaput. Fini. Dead.

Wow you guys...This is what Larry and I have been saying all along!
It's SO REFRESHING to see this common sense opinion from other strong marketers such as yourselves!

Why would we NOT promote our products if we did it properly?
We HAVE TO have INCOME to live on!

There are many of us out here who are not doing Network Marketing part time, but as our FULL TIME
"Food on the Table" and we cannot afford to mentor for free, give away lots of stuff and hope people will see how great we are and come flocking to us, send letters out with our affiliate links in the consolation that if they don't join our program "at least we sold them something!" ... Where in there are we teaching people how to build or market even, a strong PRIMARY business? Affiliate maybe....Coaching maybe...but do new people, or should even intermediates create their own info products? Should they be doing such a distracting thing when they have a primary company they are supposed to be building, supporting and leading?

That's NOT why I am doing this....and that's NOT building our business, supporting our group and CREATING INCOME for our PRIMARY BUSINESS ..because..we are being TAUGHT (in that model)
NOT to promote our PRIMARY PRODUCT!

It's carefully inserted almost as an after thought... We are taught rather to almost hide it..like we are practically ASHAMED of it or something...like it's bothering people.

If someone had not PROMOTED my product to me..I would not be sitting here typing this to you right now. If the person that sold my friend the product had not kept calling them persistently month after month, thousands of people would not have the incomes and good health that they do now.

We have to get rid of the mentality that promoting our product is a 'no-no"!!
That does not make any sense.

Yes..THERE IS A RIGHT WAY TO DO IT ONLINE and on Facebook Twitter etc. ..I believe in Social ettiquette, building relationships, social proof, and not spamming your opportunity.

It's like Joyce said, there are PLENTY of places to find people who are looking for exactly what you have.

It's funny in 2007, when I created my first blog and had no clue what I was doing in blogging, I was promoting my product like crazy on it, and selling like hotcakes to our niche for 3 years. It was not until I listened to all the HYPE and got really bogged down in nonsense. I think this happens to TOO MANY people to number!! There are far too many people silently wondering what to do, because they are ashamed that they too listened to the hype, and are not making any money. These same people probably have great skills, and knew what to do before they were sold a bill of goods by the "slicksters". OR they have a dynamic personality and have no business sitting behind a computer "generating leads" and sending out their autoresponder letters waiting for something to happen, when they would be fantastic talking to people and just don't know how.

I am not saying that I or any of these people are victims. We all go in with our eyes wide open, and are accountable for our choices. The problem is, many of the younger marketers don't know any better, and they are looking to the experienced leaders, (notice I did not say guru) to save their business, because they are doing the same thing online that they are doing offline..NOT WORKING, or not putting enough prospects into their pipeline to generate a decision.

I may get some firey darts coming at me..but I am a big girl, and can take it.

Very good post you guys...I think you're opening some minds and turning some heads and it's about time on this subject! I love what you're doing, keep shoutin!

Hey Laura. That's why we connected wasn't it? We were both on the same page, we felt the same, we watched and saw and experienced what people are still going through.

We can change people's lives. We've got the know how, the products, the companies and the systems to create a fantastic income.

We just have to let people know that we can do it - together !

I too was having success and "got really bogged down in nonsense."

When I finally opened :shock: my eyes and realized that the path I was heading down was totally wrong...

I made a 360, got back to doing what I know to do, and my business has turned around...

In fact, so much so that 2 out of the last 3 months, I have hit TOP SPONSOR in my company!

Something I could have only wished to do when I was "bogged down" in "slicksterville" :lol:

Thanks for pointing this out, Joyce.
Finding out where and what the market wants. Many of the people I talked to does not go online. Building a relationship business takes one on one interaction. That means going where they are and finding out what they want or doing to fill their need.
You are not making a cash flow an issue but a relationship issue that would build your business.
