Hello! My name is Christopher Collins and I wanted to start writing articles and blogs about my passion, and wanted to make money off of it. I was wondering where and how I can go about writing these articles or blogs for a profit, and what is the best course of action? Should I simply join a website that will pay me per article if submitted, or per page views? Or start my own articles by joining sites like wordpress but also use tools like unique article wizard and get my articles exposure, and hits? Thanks for any advice

There are many ways to make money with article marketing it all depends on how you plan to use article marketing. Since there are many ways to do so I will list a few for you.

1) If you enjoy writing about an specific topic or passion you can join a popular article directory like ezinearticles.com or articlebase.com there you can submit articles to specifics categories and make money by leaving affiliate links to related products, the more articles you have the more hits and sales you can make.

2) Another way to make money writing is using hubpages.com they have a pretty easy to use platform and you can make money from adsense and other affiliate programs like ebay and amazon.

3) if your passion is writing then you can also become a freelance writer, there are many sites that you can use to provide writing services to people for example freelancer.com and iwriter.com usually you can get paid between $4-$10 for a good unique quality article.

4) now if you have your own website and you sell your own products or are involved in an MLM business you can use article marketing to drive targeted visitors to your website.

Like I said it all depends how you plan to use it, anyways hope this tips help you

I would add that ...



Even if you start with out a plan and seems like you start building your business upside down...with creativity you still have a real business.

What I would suggest if you allow me to...is use TYPEPAD to write your articles.

Christopher..May I ask what you want to write about specifically??..If you like to write , you can also use forum marketing to your advantage and to increase your income..

How fast you go is up to you.
The more you write, and I mean constantly, daily, all the time, and learn to
cultivate your voice through pen, the faster you will accomplish the other steps.

Writing isnt what makes you money.
Writing in a way that delivers a solution to your readers does.

Find the commonality between your readers passions and yours...
What do they need?
What do they want?
What problems are they trying to solve?
What are they passionate about?

Do that and you'll find the answer to your question.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

You may be able to make some money writing for an article site, but article marketing is dead or dying because of Google's Panda. I wouldn't focus on it or use article spinners. You are wasting your time and shooting yourself in the foot.

The above steps are very solid. Be unique, be original and give visitors what they are looking for. Those are my additional points of advice.

Okay Christopher - I've read the answers here. And if you don't like blunt replies then skip the rest of what I have to say. The previous answers have all the info you need.

However IF you are still reading... here is what i can add.

You have a plan for failure.

You say you "want to start". Hmm.

How about a question that says "I have these 30 articles I have written - what can I do with them to get the most profit?"

And even more so, it's been over a week since you posted the thread. And despite some great answers you're not back. Double hmmm.

Actually I'm assuming you're not ever coming back here, so really this reply is a useful reminder for my own self as much as anything.

Gotta go now and get back to distributing the small slice of my blog postings that actually turned out to be solidly profitable - oh yes, and it usually wasn't the ones I expected would be cash-cows. Cheers!
