Why did you do MLM?

Postby Chris Brown on Thu May 17, 2012 2:36 pm

We all have things in life that we enjoy doing that all take time and money. What is it that you personally saw in MLM that will help you fill a need in your life. Was it money? Time? The time to do something you have always wanted? ect...

.

Literally Chris it was the somewhat cliché answer for me...
Time freedom and financial independence.
In others I wanted to make a boat load of money and spend my time doing
what ever I wanted and not have to work a job anymore.

I didn't know it at the time (it wasn't written yet),
but it was the concepts in the 4 Hour Work Week.

My understanding of it all and my why has matured.
But it still comes down to a primitive desire...

Making a boat load of money to do what it is I want to do in this life
and spending my time doing what ever I want and not have a job anymore.

The most honest thing I've heard online in a long time, i.e. straight up. Richard said, "My understanding of it all and my why has matured. But it still comes down to a primitive desire...

Making a boat load of money to do what it is I want to do in this life and spending my time doing what ever I want and not have a job anymore."

Most want to say, "I do it purely because I want to help people..." or "I'm just want to help others toward a better life..." and all that, but it's never the total truth and it's like they are on this "high horse" that they are so pure and their intentions are purely pure. BULLTWINKY. "Nothing is pure in this world..." - Billy Idol

I think he said it in his "White Wedding" song. :D Anyway...

If I hear from another so called purest who thinks he's A) not a sinner, or B) an Angel from heaven (and even Angels sin) and that he or she just wants to help me to succeed, I'm going to puke! (or it that toss my cookies!? :) Anyway, unless you're Mother Teresa, I don't believe you and even Mother Teresa admitted she did it because it made her feel like she was doing God's work (emotional reasons) and she was, but it is never for purely "I am unselfish and just want to help" reasons, i.e. always something to gain from it whether it be monetary, or emotional or whatever.

Just like I never ask for a girl's phone number who is paid to be nice and smile at me. 8-) Again, not even your pastor works for free, and if he does, either someone is paying his bills or he's living on the street, simple as that.

I did not see the dream of making lots of money $10,000 mo was unimaginable. I remember seeing their main product that if I sold less than 2 a week I would make more than working a 40 hour a week job.

For me, it was definite a sense of independence.

For once being in CONTROL. Something I needed in my life.
My success was based on me, and the effort I was too put into it

I love the freedom of making my own schedule not to mention I have a sales background so it seemed like a perfect fit. I choose my specific MLM company because they were the first to offer a network marketing opportunity within the cloud industry. I was already a cloud user so I knew the potential was there. The money is nice too! :D

"...one day a piece of bread will buy a bag of gold..." When things come down to just food and water for survival and all else is an extra, I know I'm in the right Network Marketing Co. :D

I can't eat a cloud, an autoresponder, supplement, website, coin, paper, internet services, or any other no edible toys, potions, lotions, and all the vanity stuff being sold, but I will have plenty of healthy food snacks (first in the industry, but is edible and even kids can relate - how many times a day do people snack and especially kids?), and water and other stored food on hand when things get really bad, and the way things are going to quote Mike Dillard, "...you have better have plenty of food, water, and cash on hand or you will be out of luck when it goes down..."

I paraphrased a bit, but I'm sure my point is crystal clear, and I think it's very a accurate prediction with inflation going to about 30 to 40% over the next 18 months, and other world events causing even more hardship for the American people.

As forecasted by Mike Dillard himself (and he does his research and homework and gets info from very reliable sources) 25% of the US population will walk away from their homes over the next three years, and that's about 100 million people approximately. Not good. Translation, the Sh...T is going the hit the fan and 98% of overconfident Americans will be in trouble bottom line.

P.S. And the Co. I Distribute for will be offering Churches, and many other organizations custom landing pages/website for their fundraising needs, and that's a good feeling knowing that a network marketing Co. can actually contribute in this way to these organizations and not have to collect money, or handle product, and get 20% for their fundraising events. In this case I stress organizations have an Emergency disaster fundraiser for food, water and cash to be at hand when disaster strikes. Priceless. ;)
