Another Newbie...
Hello All! I'm Brenda and I just found out about this site. Just signed up today and want to let you all know I'm here and ready to receive any and all advice on building my business. I work for a green company that makes wonderful natural, effective, and affordable products. I need to get this information out to the people looking for it and have not been too successful in doing so as yet. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
I am working at home with a company that manufactures safe, effective, and affordable products. Rid your home of toxins and chemicals and keep your children, elderly, and pets safe! Visit http://www.asecuredincome.com/enriching/ for more information.

Re: Another Newbie...
Hey Brenda,
Welcome...
Tip #1...put up a profile pic. We all love to see who we're dealing with.
My first question is: What is your upline coaching you to do? Success leaves clues so look at what the successful people in your company do.
In my company we say "Ingredients smell, stories sell". It means that what the stuff is made of is irrelevant, what it does is the key.
If you focus on getting 'information out there' you are going to spin your wheels.
If you focus on finding people who care deeply about the environment and are looking for ways to lessen their personal foot print, then you will have a prospect who you can help...

Hey Brenda,
Welcome to the Better Networker ... It's great to have you join us.
Tom offered some great advice.
1. Finish your profile so that we can get to know ya better.
2. Check with your upline in your company to see what is currently working for them.
3. Find your target audience and offer them solutions to their current situations.
One thing that I would like to add is that there are many different ways to approach your target audience, such as blogging, article marketing and of course social media.
Do not try to do all of these all at once. Pick one method of advertising and a master that one area before you even think of exploring the other options that are available.
Hope that helps a bit.
Wishing you much success,
Kevin

Hey Brenda
I know this may sound mental but it really helped me when I got started.
If you have a blog through WordPress grab the feedjit widget and put
it on your blog.
Its a free plug-in. This way when you post an article somewhere not only
can your track the source but it will give you a kick along to see that people
- real people - are looking at your hard work.
It all helps to keep your spirits up.
Dig in and keep going
Heather

If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to identify your target market first, and then spend 100% of your time, energy and money advertsing and communicating with people in your target market. Remember, not everyone is a prospect.

Re: Another Newbie...
Welcome Aboard,
This place is a great place to be. Lots of leaders are here and there's a ton to learn from them.
Let me share what I've learnt.
1. Your company sells the best products in the world - Agreed. Let me let you in on a little secret.
> Everyone is also selling that best products in the world. If that is your entire claim to fame - Your product is number one million and one.
> Everyone is just sick and tired if hearing that. Just think how much you have gotten bombarded with that same statement in the last week. phone calls - emails - advertisements everywhere. That type of stuff just doesn't fly.
> It has already been said "identify your target market". That means in your case "many people could not give a flying flip about that whole green stuff idea". Selling to everyone is like playing the lotto, you are trying to sell thing to people who just don't want what you offer. If you want to sell find people looking for green stuff.
How? do you know how to do some keyword research. I bet many people are looking in google right now for what you've got. If you can show up in front of them there in google - you targeted the right people. There's alot more to this that even I don't know. You want to learn how to put your message exactly where the perfect customer will be looking for it. could be google, youtube, ezine... use your imagination and creativity.
Lastly, you need marketing skills. You have to figure out why people buy. Construct your campaigns to hit the nail on the head. People buy green stuff because they have a care and concern for the environment. That should be your campaign.
"Do You Care To Protect The World We Live In So Your Little Cuties Can Enjoy It Too"
would be hitting that,
instead of
"Come And See The Amazing Green Stuff I've Got To Sell You".
I hope this has been helpful. If you've got questions just continue the thread. We'll be back to get them.
