Lucas, I apologize for whatever and whomever has brought you to this conclusion. I certainly hear your disgust! How sad that in this business, as in many others, all are not genuine. If you dare, after such
great disappointment, please join me this Tuesday or any day of your choosing to merely investigate an opportunity that is legitimate and doesn't exaggerate. I'd love to hear from you in order to provide all of the details. Again, I'm sorry for your experience.

Sincerely,

Zenobia

You've ran into the internet with all its glory, Lukas, anyone can say anything, anytime, anywhere.

What you should be doing is learning some business skills and then sales and marketing will fall into their prospective places. Then you'll be able to see clearly where, and with whom, you should be putting your efforts into for the results you want.

Hi Lukas,

I can certainly feel your frustration, I have been in or around the MLM/NWM industry since around 1995 and the biz opp since the late 80's.

In all that time I too have had my share of frustration's, let downs and loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars getting screwed over by unscrupulous marketers. Yet, I am still in the game!

WHY?

I keep fighting because I refuse to let life "F" me over.

I know I was designed for better in life than just to go to a job, which I am grateful for, but have no room for any advancement in it.

>>> I have found that being an entrepreneur and being in the MLM industry you really have to be some what of a self starter.

Because, people/marketers will promise you the world, over promise and under deliver.

Not all mind you, thank God, but far too many are just out for themselves and the almighty, fast buck and they leave so many damaged people in their wake.

MLM is a real, viable industry, one whereby a person, if they choose and are willing to work hard and pay the price, can have a great career and live a life that others only can dream of having.

I am convinced that there are some great MLM companies out there, as well as some great people, who are willing to help you achieve your goals.

All's one can do is research as best they can and prayerfully consider the opportunities they are looking at.

You pretty much have to become self educated on the MLM industry. http://www.networkingtimes.com is a good place to start.

Make personal development a priority for yourself.

I was on a call last week with a top earner in Pre Paid Legal. This guy has made over $14 million dollars in PPL.

He attributes his success to belief in himself and personal development.

Lastly, he told us on the call of a seminar he attended last week where some of the riches and top earners in MLM were speaking.

He said the most common theme they all had in common was the fact that they had "BELIEF" and/or believe that they could and would be successful.

Don't let anyone or anything steal your dreams man. :)

Yes Lukas, lots of people who are giving advice who have never done it, and still haven't done it, then tell some story about their MLM experience and how great it is and blah, blah, blah. You know, they keep smiling at you in their pic all the while not making a plug nickle with their business.

The attraction marketers really "kill me" and they almost have this smugness about them don't they? :D Just the subconscious "I know I'm better than you are, and more branded and more of an attraction marketer than you so I smile big to patronize you.." LOL! Something like that, but attraction marketing has been around for thousands of years and no, Mike Dillard wasn't the first. :0)

Anyway, as Bubba clinton once said Lukas, "..I feel your pain..." and so with that I work only with proven track record people and three of the four on my team are millionaires and one is my mentor Bobby Smith who is the VP of Marketing for the Company I'm involved with (see my resource box for details) and they are just great low key laid back people who know how to get business done, and I'm learning a lot from them and I do SEO/SEM for a living online, but I know within the "context" of the Network marketing industry they are kings and queens comparatively speaking.

For example; on our Team United USA we have - in no particular order; Kenny Hodge (millionaire in the industry, Christina Hodge (millionaire in the industry), Bobby Smith (VP of Snackhealthy and millionaire in the industry) and Debbie Stein, who is one of our weekly trainers and makes over 8K a week now (yes I said a week and I verified her income with the CEO of the company myself), and she did it in 16 months making Debbie well on her way to becoming a millionaire in the industry.

Gee, she learned from millionaires how start on the right path to becoming a millionaire - personal mentoring is a must and can't be overlooked and under underutilized if one is to be be hugely successful in this industry with again, people who have been there and done that, not those that still are in the hobby stage or never get out of it, or worse, keep losing money and working for free all their so called career in the Network Marketing Industry, and you don't want to be one of them either from what I can see Lukas. .

There's a big underlying problem in this industry that is feeding what you're experiencing...

Everything has become so overhyped and exaggerated for one dangerous reason (among several), and that is people in general have become so damn lazy and programmed by the microwave lifestyle they live that anything other than a magic bean fairy tale doesnt even get their attention any more.

Try this...
Take a group of people and tell the truth about building a business.
Then tell the fairy tale that is perpetuated the way you are talking about.

... which do you think they will choose?
The Fairy Tale!

Its easier, costs less, requires minimal time investment, requires very little skill ...
basically the message is you can sit in your butt, push a button and collect checks.
Yeah Right!

In contrast if you tell them its going to take time, money, work, require them to invest in learning some skills, get off the couch, talk to people, learn how to sell, learn how to manage a business, learn how to build teams, learn some level of leadership, do things they may be afraid of doing. Tell them all that and they run back to the fairy tale.

Its so insane in fact that people will keep buying product after product chasing the magic beans that they'll go broke, kicking and moaning and complaining and blaming others the whole way down, before they ever attempt to try the other way - building a business the right way.

The lies and the hype will always be there as long as people keep paying for them.
The lies and the hype will be there as long as lazy people keep looking for those kinds of "solutions."
The lies and hype will be there as long as people keep trying to hide behind a computer screen.
The lies and hype will be there as long as people keep avoiding growing into what it takes to be successful.

Now that all of that is on the table ask yourself...
Who's Fault Is It Really That This Stuff Is Going On?
