I have been to two company events that I was associated with at one time or another. One in 1996 and again in 2007.
My first was New Image International which the headquaters was in Kentucky as was my sponsor, so I flew to the national convention and also met my sponsor and Dale Calvert my mentor and the compnay trainer.
My second convention was in 2007 flew to Dallas, with my team memebrs, to an Ameriplan convention.
What I like about the events is that you get to met the company owners, the top leaders and you can also get to learn from some of the best in the company.
It let me know the compnay was real, when I finally got out from my home and mingled with others in the companies.
I also enjoythe weekly or monthly trainings we did in Pre Paid Legal, my sponsor was in LA and I was in the Midwest, so I kinda felt out of place at our local meetings. Although everyone was great toward me.
Last week David Wood and David Sharpe had their Empower Network convention in Atlanta. I saw photo's posted on FB. Everyone who attended looked like they had a really great time hanging out together.
Must admit, I was a little envious,

!
In my opinion, going to events can bring a company, the distributors and teams closer together.
It can also build trust.
And it can show that there are real people in this thing, and build comradery.
