Hi, I recieved an email about a cash gifting program, I have no experience with anything like this. Can anyone tell me if this type of thing works or not ? has anyone had any experience with one of these kind of programs? Thank you for your input!

Lisa - I have no experience with this type of programme and have no wish to do so. It's not any sort of business that anyone reputable would put their name to - sorry Don, because quite simply it's not a business.

I guess those who do it will argue it works and is perfectly legitimate. Maybe it does, but for how long? As for the legalities? Are you convinced and ready to stake everything on it being legitimate?

In my opinion, since you asked... cash gift works if you like giving people your money with the promise that others will be desperate or gullible enough to send you theirs.

You're right Susan, it's not a business. Cash gifting operates as an "activity" so they don't have to follow the same rules... I just can't understand why intelligent people would participate in such an "activity" when the bottom falls out on every last one of them !

I guess it's the BIG MONEY for little effort lure that appeals to people who like the "something for nothing" idea.

But, what does all that matter? Aren't we all just shuffling money around anyway

In spite of that Lisa, Don gave some powerful information on how and where to market and promote your business regardless of what the product or service you offer... How ever that power could be used for good and... other "activity".

I agree with both what San and Malika said...

And I know nothing about cash gifting. But what I do know is this. Any real business has a product or service that people want and need so they buy it.

If I understand this corectly...You send someone cash with the hopes of getting cash sent back to you? Is that the jist of it. And if that is the way it works...Man o man, no wonder most people don't take our industry too serious and think its a scam.

And if that is not the way it works, please, would someone educate me on it. Because if that is the way it works its just another nail driven into the reputation of the Home Business Industry that already has more black eyes than it needs!

The funny thing about cashing is the product. The product cash gifting sells is the opportunity for others to send you cash without you having to do anything except for you "getting in" before others.

These "others" were apparently waiting to give their cash to someone so hey, it may as well be you, right? And the only way they can find you is if you are in the gifting program already... How else would they know you are open to receive.

Here's an idea ! You think it would work the same if I put a change cup out next to my mail box or my front door marked, "OPEN TO RECEIVING CASH GIFTS" with a note promising to give back too, I'll get some action?

What makes it funny is that is the general negative view that network marketing has and has had for years. When the focus was taken off of retailing a product to recruiting others who sell the product (but just end up recruiting others too) the product became the justification or scape goat, if you will, of the recruiting "activity".

That's why in todays market place, the actual products/services that we offer have to speak for themselve and give real value
to the market place.

I guess you can take the cash you are "gifted" and buy a real business (home based or traditional) and it all evens out in the wash???

I got a kick out of reading the replies. You all write very well, and each point is well taken. Overall, it seems to me that most people think Cash Gifting is a scam. I found it to be a very hard sell - and eventually dropped out. That being said, I'm working with another program that is getting a bad rap - and should not. It's Zero2Riches. It's not a cash gifting - and not a pyramid - but it has that reputation for some reason unknown to me. It's actually a way for one to build multiple streams of income - without having to spend any cash out of your pocket. It sounds too good to be true - but it is. I'll stake my reputation on that.

Thank you Malika,

For taking the time to fully explain that to me. You know, in my mind I already knew that was how it worked or thought it worked. But I didn't want to believe it. I needed someone brave enough to answer my question and you did.

You know, I do believe that more and more people are getting educated and a little more wiser about being able to spot a really bad company or "Deal" that one may be promoting.

But I also know we all have a long way to go until that day comes when our industry is taken more seriously. I think mean while all we can do is voice our opinion and start calling some things out onto the carpet that needs cleaned so to speak.

I guess if one wants to play in some money game such as cash gifting I guess its no different than playing the lottery and hoping on getting some cash from one of the tickets.

Something I think about also...Someone starts these money games. I wonder what their take is in the money schemes. Oh, wait a minute, they have operating costs to cover.

Hey, how about this. Lets all just go to some non-profit organization near us this weekend and give them some money without expecting or "Hoping" for some cash back!

Why would you stake your reputation on anything you cannot control? Your program, which requires NO MONEY... How do they find the money to pay you these multiple streams?? If no one is spending any money... where is the money coming from for anyone to get paid?

Maybe the founders are cash gifters and they take the money other people send them to pay you?

Sounds to me like you are a scam magnet going from cash gifting to another form of "free" income generation program.

Either way you can still do well if you can appeal to people with the same mentality.
