Willie. I had some red flags that went up with Zeek. Nothing specific just red flags going off and wasn't interested in getting involved with it.

Should I feel sorry for the people that did get involved or should we recognize that people are responsible for their own decisions and hope they develop the BS detectors they need before getting involved in anything?

Zeek may be back and there will be an acceptable slant to explain the recent events, or they will change their name and resume business and people will continue to do what they've always done.

Get screwed.

Yeah Joyce, I have seen ads about Zeek Rewards, but never took time to look at it.

I have to say, I did join it, a while ago, never did anything with it, because like Joyce, I had some red flags for it & My Questions weren't getting answered by those in it ( Should have been Enough Really, but we do these things don't we!!)

That said and done, In My Honest Opinion and this is based on Almost 15 years Social Media Experience, the only Business/ess that seem to do well on The Internet, are Information Based ones ( I have Started mine in 2008) they ride through all the Rough Waves of 'The Next Best thing' & While I feel sorry for those associated with ZR, It is not Unexpected. My Information Business, as I am sure many others Continues to Thrive.

I never joined Zeek, or looked at it closely.

I agree I had lots of red flags, if only hearing what its affiliates were saying.

This is what I have heard:
Zeek Rewards is being investigated.

No criminal charges have been made.

Zeek Awards is under an administrative investigation by the North Carolina Attorney General's office.

The Dispatch, a local paper there, states they closed "voluntarily".

My understanding is that North Carolina Attorney General's consumer protection division is trying to nail down Zeek Awards business model.

Zeek Rewards is owned by Rex Venture Group, which operates the online penny auction site Zeekler.com as well as the affiliates program Zeek Rewards.

* It has closed its headquarters, and closed down its websites - for the time being.

* It is not allowed to take in any money until the investigation is over.


Regardless of the whys and hows, it is yet another ding on the reputation of network marketing.

I wish all those involved in Zeek Awards a good resolution to the investigation.

The company has been around for a few years now, I'm more curious about the timing of this investigation more than anything else, only time will tell what comes of this.

I got involved in Zeek Rewards a few months ago because a friend of mine was in it for about a year or so. He said that he was getting great results. I was just learning about what else to do to learn the system when this happened.
It is also well to have more than one stream of income just in case something like this happens unfortunately.
Posting daily ads for free seems simple enough. Maybe it was more than most thought involved in this simple system.
If it comes back, it probably be revised and simplier to understand.

I was looking into it before and without relation to how good this opp was - I thought it was too complicated to average person to understand, it did not give you an option to really earn while you are a free member.
I think that if you have an opportunity that you can sell the product and make money without the relation to the opportunity - this is a good one.
I think also that any company that will actually give an option to join for free - and really make money - this company will have much more success and many more people will come and upgrade later on if they will "test the water" and will see that this is a company that really worth it.
Sorry for Zeek and all that are involved with these kind of opps...

Yes Mario that's my line of thinking also, multiple streams of income.

I think MPB also having some issues too.

When something like this happens it hurts all who are involved in the NWM, IM or Biz Opp arena. People will automatically scream, I told you those work at home thingy's are scams.

Yet a person can report to work as usual, find the doors locked and chained, but hey that's the way the economy is going, what can you do most will say.

I know there are risk involved with any venture, we have to prayerfully consider our options and weigh the cost.
