O.K. This could be interesting. That is...
if you are up for a simple challenge.
Well...are you?
This is the COPYWRITING FORUM, is it not?
In the game of copywriting, headlines are everything. While there are other vitally important components that are added below a headline to create the magic of high response, if your headline sucks, so will your results.
Strong headlines capture the attention of the reader and make them "stick" to the rest of your ad, one surefire way to get maximum response.
Since these forums are such a great place where multiple minds meet, why don't we take this opportunity to get creative and help our fellow brothers and sisters who reside here out a bit.
Everyone who reads this post does one simple thing. You ready?
Here's the challenge. Come up with a single word or phrase that anyone who is marketing
a home-based business could use to magnetically attract people into reading the "rest" of the story being presented in that type of advertisement.
Here's the challenging part. Be promotional, but don't use hyped-up, over-used phrases.
I'll get it started by putting out both a word and a phrase.
Word: Deadly
Phrase:
College Dropout Stumbles into Incredibly Simple Business that...
Alright...game on. Who is going to participate?

Kind of a long one, but I like it:

Hey Todd... hehe... great add-on to the title of this thread... "Can you pass?"
-You definitely earned my click on the forum with that one. ;)
Great Topic man.
Alrighty, let me throw something out here...
Word: Help!
For the phrase, I'm going to include a phrase opener for a pretty responsive email I sent out not too long ago...
Phrase:
This past 48 hrs I've had trouble BREATHING...
(Lean forward and I'll tell you why...)
-This is going to be a fun one Todd, who else is in besides Me and Aurelius?
You're not AFRAID are you? ;)

I echo David... "Great Topic" Todd!
Thanks for the opener! Here's my 2 cents...:)
Word: Daring
Phrase: "Who's really the Boss? You...or Them?"
(switch "them" with "him" or "her" if you had those demographics)

Re:A Copywriting Test. Can you pass?
This is way over my head but I'm here to learn and participation (or trying) is a part of my learning process.
Word: What is/does (okay, two words)
Phrase: What Does The 30 Day Mental Challenge And Principaless Interest Have In Common?
This is something I just added to one of my follow up messages and this is my subject line, have no idea if it'll grab the readers but I sure hope so
"curiosity killed the cat"
It got me to learn more about it anyway
