OK I have a simple question for anyone who knows just a little about posting. When you create a article or post something on a blog here how do you make a link so when you click on it, it directs you to another website? I just wrote a article and at the end I posted my website and I don't know how to make it a "hyperlink" or whatever you call it so when someone clicks on it you would be taken to my website.
I know how to do it in these posts but not when you write a article or post to a blog.
Thanks for your help.:)

Re:How do I create hyperlink or whatever you call
Not sure what I am doing wrong but this isn't working for me either.
So if I wanted to create an article and have www.freetournow.com be a hyperlink how would I do this? It happens in the forum automatically but not when I submit an article.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

This should work:
<a href="http://www.freetournow.com"></b>http://www.freetournow.com</b></a>
<a href="http://www.freetournow.com"></b>http://www.freetournow.com</b></a>

Re:How do I create hyperlink or whatever you call
If it's in a forum, you often have to use what is called BB code, and not HTML.
this goes to my myspace page
To see how I just entered that... Replay to THIS post, this click on the URL tab. It will then display a sample of how to do it. (If I type it in here, it will convert it to a link!)

What sites are you trying to post your article too? That might be the problem, some article sites wont let you post a link in your articles.

Steve, as it happens THIS board requires BBCode for the signature line. It works only slightly different than HTML. I have an article here about how to do it, let me point you to that resource...

Hope this helps... it shows BOTH HTML and BBCode.

The BBCode for a HTML link is as follows:
If I wanted to post a link to my blog, like:
Visit my blog
In the editor I would highlight the text I wanted to turn into the link (in this case 'Visit my blog') and then click the URL button and modify it to include my URL as below:
Hope that helps.

[url=http://www.workingsolelyonline.com]Visit my blog[/url]
