Re: Porn MLM

I think the BOP meetings could be entertaining.

Seriously that sounds like a company that will either become ridiculously big or collapse quickly.

Marketing it would be difficult. A large part of the population who watch porn would never admit to it, let alone brag about it to market it. Good internet marketers could make it work, even then it would be tough with adult content filters.

Please send me feeback, bad or good......it has the power to make a huge impact in the network marketing world, as well as attract people that have never been involved with an mlm before. What do you guys think?

If you see yourself specializing in the adult entertainment realm, then perhaps it could be lucrative. I would not advise representing a porn company and a traditional network marketing company at the same time or even close in time. Your reputation among potential business partners or customers for a traditional network marketing company could easily be maligned based on your association with the sale of pornographic products.

In addition, my understanding is that making big bucks in the porn industry is just as challenging, if not more so, as making money with traditional network marketing. An important consideration is the fact that pornography laws vary from state to state and even within states. An 18-year-old might be a legal customer in California but an illegal customer in Utah.

Then you have the problem of minors accessing Internet porn. Ask any teenage boy how many of his friends have watched porn on the Internet and you'll see what I mean (and, increasingly, it's similar for girls). Could you be held liable if a minor purchases pornographic material via your website? I wouldn't be surprised if you could be liable and subject to criminal as well as civil penalties.

Tread Carefully ...

I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Remember you will have a reputation to live up to. For me I couldn't tell my children or the rest of my family that my main business product was porno.

Think of how many families out there would reject this. People can knock the vitamin companies but at least the family as a whole can partake of the products which means more sales.

Your product will limit your market to only a certain type of individual so I think your market will be limited. Plus I don't think women will really take to a business like this, promoting porno, at least not decent women. So again it will be limited.

Given that most families and women would not touch this I can guess that you would be left marketing to a bunch of guys and then really how many serious business guys are going to want to be promoting porno.

It's a flop before it starts. I can guarantee you that even though it may take off, and probably very quickly because it's a new concept, in the end you may put in months or years of work just to see it fold in a puff of smoke.

No... it's a dead loss.

Each to their own. But, as has already been pointed out, I think you need to tread very carefully if this is something you are going to promote.

Plus I think it will depend upon people's perceptions of what constitutes 'porn'. Mine are probably very much different to yours. I cant' foresee where you would market this. But then again, there are probably lots of places where you can advertise and those of us not in that industry just don't know about them.

I agree it's probably very lucrative. But then so are a lot of things that I wouldn't want to put my name to.
Okay, I finally opened up.

Wow.

Besides ruining your reputation, Loosing friends and Family, And pretty much making you look
like a joke, What 'type' of people are you marketing to?

Or are you going to approach them in the street and give them the whole,
"Hi! I've just seen something Im really excited about!
You have just got to see this!
It is in the 'porn' Industry and........"

Right there is when You get punched in the face or told to go and get F****d.

That is my opinion. But doing it all over the net would be a benefit.
But it is your choice... I mean There are hundreds of different MLM businesses
out there.. And you chose one that deals with porn. Hmm.

Not a chance! Consider that most marketing tools and services that are available for free or no cost have a censorship policy. They all state in one way or another that no porographic material is allowed, not even for marketing purposes. I am sure that there are many options for you out there but the best tools in marketing are all against porno.

It is also proven that a Network Marketing business should provide something that is accepted worldwide like health products, travel, technology, etc. In many countries porno is banned and here (in the USA)people have access to free porno 24/7 Online. Nobody buys porno! Unless they are in a business where they are basically scammed into buying inventory or set up an autoship!

It's a bad enough that we have young adults questioning there own sexuality, children having children and marriages that have broken up do to infidelity you have to start pushing a PORN business and just because it's Network Marketing it's a Good Thing. I don't think so. Pornography has long ranging emotional effects on both genders. You ought to be promoting a MLM that promotes positive thoughts not negative one's. In MLM we should be developing healthy relationships with people not sick, distorted perversions of the truth and PORN is just that. You either need to get a better perspective on what your trying to promote or get out of Network Marketing all together.
