My name is Josh and my wife and I are in our mid twenties and just started out in MLM, Independent marketing. We got hooked up with Team national through our parents, I have been looking around realizing the money potential of home based businesses (I am a teacher). I have noticed that Team national is not advertised a lot online, and it seems nobody online is using it. I am a tech kid so I know the power of the internet, can anyone just give me the low down of this company, is it good? Why no internet, I even heard they dispise you to use internet leads and would rather you use your warm market (been there done that). Can a few seasoned vets give me thier imput on it please thank you,

Hi,
My name is Dianna Womack 'diannamac', and I have been a member of Team National for about three months now.
As to not seeing any advertising on the net, it is because it is "against the rules" (so to speak). There is something about internet advertising that goes against the DSA (Direct Seler's Association) member rules that govern Team National.
I LOVE Team National. I have saved oodles of money using my benefits package, but ran out of leads fast, with only one sale.
The rules state that you cannot use the name (Team National, Big N, National Companies), or logos on an internet site.
I figure that does not keep 'someone else' from saying their name though. See how I have tried to get around it HERE: http://www.macprofits.biz
Now, don't copy that yet, as I am still checking to see if it will slide.
However, I wil tell you that I have been using another system to generate leads, which has nothing to do with Team National, allows me to promote 20 affiliate programs (where I can earn income and pay for advertising even if I don't sign that lead up for Team National) and can still promote Team National in a much more forthright manner. The conversions with this system run about 21-30% that a lead will make a purchase and about 4% will sign up with my business opportunity (Team National)...So if you do the math, that's about 30 leads out of a hundred making a purchase and about 4 buying a benefits package.
I am very hapy with this system...visit http://www.macprofits.info to learn more.
Also, I am a web designer (http://www.diannamac.com) and business owner (http://www.exclusivelydrywall.com) with 9 years experience..I am MORE THAN HAPPY to talk to you, help you out and at least tell you where my pitfalls have been and help you avoid them.
I would prefer not to post my cell number here, but please feel free to send me an email at dianna@diannamac.com or use any of the contact forms on any of the sites and I will give you a call on my dime. If you would like to get to know me a little better, my blog is at http://diannamac.info.
I sincerely look forward to getting better aquainted,
Dianna 'diannamac'

Re: Team National- Sorry Im new
HI,
I've heard of "Team National" I had looked at it before joining the company I'm in now. The concept of Saving my way to wealth just didn't make sense to me. Now I'm not saying that saving is a bad thing, I save all the time. What the company I did join does is allows me to make money off services and products I'm already using in my own home. I didn't have to go out and sell anything, all I do is show people how to do the same. It's simple but can't be explained with any clarity by writing about it here. I will say this. People that join us and work with us are making money before they even understand the why's and how's of it. It's amazing the money I've seen made just in my small town. You can email me if you want more information and I'll do what I can. Regardless of what you do, network marketing is the way to go and I wish you all the success in the world.

Re: Team National- Sorry Im new
After I retired from Professional baseball my wife and I also were intruiged with mlm's. I did not like the door to door, I didn't like having to buy so much to qualify for a check, and I didn't like several other things about different companies. Plus, there was always it seemed at least 4 other companies doing and selling basically the same thing!!! There are many different companies that do the very same thing as Team National. Some have hundreds of stores to shop at and some have discount travel. If you believe in the integrity of your company then you are ok. I was fortunate to find my nitch and have something I truely believe in. That is the secret. If you truely believe in what your company is doing your success will go way up. Of coarse have support from your upline and staying plugged in are also necessities. As far as the internet, there is great potential there. It is hard to simply type a response and give you all the answers you are searching for. My biggest advice is do your research "due diligence" to make sure that you are going to have a large enough market to make substantial money if you commit and take massive action, and also if your target market fits you!!! To your success,

A lot of folks here at BN do business with companies that associate with the DSA including mine (4Life Research). DSA does not govern how we do our business, your company has that right and the main reason is legal issues. Some make mistakes while representing their oppotunities that costs a lot of lawsuit $$$ to their companies.
On the other hand I see that your worry is well founded. I've never heard anything good or bad about your company. Probably it is new? In any case you must explore yur possibilities to grow with them. Being so strict in terms of using promotional material or doing online business can be detrimental to your business. Do you feel like you own your business with them? Probably no, but communicating with the company staff or directors can help you clarify some misunderstandings with the company's policy.
Feeling restricted in so many ways is depressing to you and a barrier to those that may like your concept but can't do business this way. Your goal should be try to work this out now, don't wait until you stop believing in Network Marketing, all companies are similar but different. Good luck!

Rick,
Thank you for setting me straight on the difference between the DSA's policies and company policy.
I'm sure liability plays a part on more than one level.
Thanks too, to all of the wonderful people who have posted and who make us 'newbies' welcome here, as well as the good advice.
