Come and Join Us!

Postby Dave Pyke on Wed Nov 21, 2007 8:38 pm

Hi to my friends, family, fellow associates and especially YOU!

Are you all ready to jump on board the most exciting thing that's happened since the California Gold Rush? This is going to catch on like wildfire, and we in BookWise all know it and feel it happening. I am very happy to be here and let others in on the big secret - Starting in December there will be a real paradigm shift in our business.

Come and visit my site and see what all the commotion is about.

You know, success doesn't have to be difficult or hard. You just have to be smart about it. Can you do that? Are you sure? Are you ready... Then come on board. Those of us who have already taken this step has found it to be easier than they thought. I look forward to your success and the life you really want.

p.s. Ask yourself, when you jump in, are you going to sink or swim? Well in this business, the water only goes up to your ankles! Just walk through it! Plus you get to meet some really great people!

Hi Dave, And welcome! Would you mind telling us what you are doing to market your business? Maybe you could give all of us some ideas.

How do we market?

Good question...Some really easy ideas are to have your business cards with you always. Everywhere I go I just say hello to folks and hand them a card. Remember, you are the president of your business (sound familiar). Well it really works when you act like it. "I have my own bookstore online and I'd like to invite you in". In a conversation, just find out what people are looking for. Everyone is a customer, not all are going to be associates. Follow up, follow up, follow up! Let others see your success repeatedly. They'll want to be a part of what you've got going.

One important thing I do with my downline is offer tremendous support. And in turn they offer it to theirs also. If you don't have someone to communicate with about your business, it will fall apart. Just like a marriage, communication is everything. We're looking for leaders and so should you. A leader needs to be developed just as we should be developing our skill sets all the time.

Be the lighthouse, and lead the way... and pass the light on!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Dave and lkiehl,

One of the things the team I lead (Better Life Alliance)is doing is building little display boxes for the What is BookWise Handshake Brochures and putting them in local businesses. We are having a great response to this and we are having a hard time keeping them stocked. We need to wait for the new ones to come out which include the major announcements.

Also, I like what Dave has done by purchasing another domain name that is catchy and easy to remember and then forwarding it to your company website. I use Godaddy.com to do the same thing. Then you can get a vinyl sign or the like for your vehicle to promote your business.

Hi Destry, Are the businesses you approach to put the brochures in, receptive to the business? I have contacted some businesses and they were hard to get thru to the person that could give permission and then others said, no, they don't allow mlm literature. Also, may I ask, are there special display boxes that a person can get? Or do you have a source for generic display boxes?
I hope I didn't ask too many questions.
Thanks for your help

Hey Linda,

When it comes to the businesses I approach I have had good success with privately owned businesses and people who I or my wife do business with on a regular basis. I worked at a restaurant off ot the I-15 exit in Beaver UT for nine years and I have brochures there of course. The lady who does my wife's hair let me put some in her shop. I also have a stand in a gas station at another exit. Where you run into problems is if it is a chain store. They have restrictions on what they can display in their stores sometimes.

I am pretty handy with a nail gun and a miter saw so I made my own brochure stands. I have people on my team wanting me to make them now. I have attached (I hope) a picture of the stands I made to give you an idea of what can be done.
