Over the years of network marketing I have seen a lot of people spend thousands and tens of thousands of dollars on their mlm business and in return see horrible results.

When does it make sense for them to look at another opportunity that may offer them a better chance of succeeding?

I know there are a lot of good network marketing companies to choose from, but lets face it, they are all different in some way.

- Some offer more products than others.
- Some focus on niche products.
- Some offer better marketing systems than others.
- Some are built offline, some are built online, and some use both methods.
- Some cost more to operate (cds, flip charts, literature packs, etc.)
- All comp plans are different (different payout percentages, features like 'rollup', etc.)
- Some comp plans make it to where you make money fast where others you slowly build on.

I have seen too many people brainwashed believing there product or business is the best, when in reality they are only repeating what their upline told them or what they heard in a meeting. And the only reason they stay so long with that company, spending all of the money with terrible returns, is because they made friends and feel obligated to.

So, when is it time to look else where?

Love this. I wrote a blog months back about that very thing. When does tenacity turn into stupidity? Had a ball writing it as so many people just hang on because success is just right around the corner. They don't realize that at some point you have to sit back and take a good long hard look at what you are doing, the company, the compensation plan and then make some sound business decisions.

I want to say I'm a Newbie to MLM, I have been involved for 2 Mths.

So, to answer, you Change Companies like any good investor. always looking for the Market trends, follow them. I'm an accomplished RE Investor. Study what others are doing and general rule of thumb, do the opposite. When it's BOOM time - sell don't buy.

Doberman is correct. It's never an issue of "when it doesn't work for
you any more." It's an issue of maintaining your passion and commitment.

The only thing I would tell anyone is you get rich by SELLING PRODUCTS/SERVICES/WIDGETS, Not BUYING THEM!

Truth be told the average network is better off quitting and putting their money under a rock! Most people are not will to do what it takes to figure out HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL!

Before you change any company ask yourself "AM I 110% COMMITTED TO BEING SUCCESSFUL?"

When your company is making changes that negatively affect the distributors.
When you start struggling and you see that your team is struggling too.
When you see your commission checks going down.
When you lose the belief in your company and you are no longer excited.
When you don't see a future anymore with the company you are with.

...I think, that would be a good time to look for another opportunity.
