The real key to successful meetings always revolves around the fundamental
MLM principle of duplication. Any type of meeting that cannot be copied and
taught by the least articulate and successful person in your group is ultimately
doomed to failure and should be abandoned. You want to keep the in home
meetings of yourself, and your downline so consistent that any prospect could
attend any meeting in any city and walk away with the same knowledge and information.
The best meetings is the one in which every single detail, from location to closing
comments, is easy to teach and emulate. Maintain the attitude that you are
offereing your prospects an appointment with destiny. What other professionals
can look a man or women in the eye and tell them truthfully that it is possible to
earn $10,000 - $50,000 a month in no more than a few years while enjoying
personal freedoms. Only us in Network Marketing.

Re: Key to Successful Meetings
I agree. You have to have very duplicatable meetings so no matter who or where you are, your new prospects can be successful even if they never had a home meeting before. One problem I found is that even if you have a detailed presentation that anyone can duplicate, there are people that are to shy or have no desire to do a presentation themselves.
If your company does not have a DVD of the presentation, you might want to suggest they design one. This has been an awesome tool for me. We have a DVD that you get when you enroll, along with many other things but this DVD allows anyone to invite people over to their house, push in the DVD and hit play! The DVD does all the work!
It’s been my experience that it’s much easier to get a group to come to a “house” meeting that has a more casual atmosphere then a corporate meeting where new prospects may feel there is pressure to join. Also having home meetings, you can determine the days and times that work best instead of the pre-set days of corporate meetings. Don’t get me wrong, I think the corporate meetings are much more effective because of the synergy of the room (and I go to them every week) but not all prospects want to go or can go if they live in other states. So for those, I have found this “DVD push & play” very effective and 100% duplicatible!
One thing I heard at a training one time and thought it was brilliant was in the inviting process. When you call someone for a meeting, tell them that statistics show that 3 out of 10 will get involved and you know they may not be currently looking for a business opportunity but can they please do you a favor and come as one of the 7 so you can get your 3. I have tried this many times and more often than not, they are a little irritated that you have put them in the category of the 7 that won’t get involved.
This causes 2 things to happen:
• 1) They come to the meeting knowing there will be no pressure.
• 2) They usually have a more open mind to be one of the 3 because everyone likes to make up their own mind and you have already pre-determined they won’t get involved.
Either way, you get them to the meeting so they hear your presentation and because they see how easy it is to push in a DVD and hit play, they realize it is something they can do. If your company doesn’t have a DVD, make one yourself for your own downline. It is a great tool and gives everyone a greater chance for success becsuse who can't "Push and Play"?
